An absolutely awesome meal! I had the Chori Polo, and it was the best I have had. Great chorizo, the best cheese sauce, and perfect chicken. The rice was probably the best I have ever had. Beans were pretty good too. Our waitress was super nice. All the meals at our table were thoroughly enjoyed. The chips and salsa was good, but I have had better chips. We may make this a yearly stop.

Little Mexican restaurant in a little plaza area. Very great prices for what you get! I had the soft grilled chicken and steak tacos with rice and beans. Margarita was a little too sweet for me but still good. Waitress was pleasant and the food came out very quick.

First taste into beans and rice and I knew this place was authentic. Great flavor. Chile Verde is excellent. Excellent salsa. Bartender made me an extra strong margarita. Turned out my lights. It is great to experience a place like this up in these Mountains.

I was totally amazed! This place is so awesome! Our server was so friendly, the place is quiet and clean and interesting to look at. The drinks and food were incredible! (Look at that Margarita!!) And it’s enough for both of us to have 2 separate meals apiece out of what we ordered. And, they let us buy one of their bowls his food was served in, that’s made out of volcanic rock. So cool.

Who would have thought that there would be an excellent Mexican restaurant in the tiny town of Max Meadows, VA, but there is. We were staying at the Fort Chiswell RV Park and found this place on Travelocity. We gave it a try and were very pleased.

It’s ok. Not a lot of choices when we were there. Things were closed for the holiday. It wasn’t that busy when we walked in, but we weren’t greeted, and no one even looked our way. Since there wasn’t a sign, we started walking towards the tables and everything was dirty by a young man, came towards us with a towel and cleared a table and motion us towards it. He came back in a moment with menus and chips and salsa, and then we waited, forever. The young man cleared other tables and the place quickly filled up. We finally caught a server and placed our order. Our food actually came out before our drinks and it was just basic. I will admit it was not expensive and I wasn’t expecting five star. Maybe this is just how it’s done here.
