Had takeout lunch from here for the first time since it’s had a new owner. Wasn’t expecting much but surprised how good the food was. 2 people with me also thought it was very good. Dining in not a great option but takeout was excellent.

My husband and I are over the road truck drivers. We’ve had Chinese food from New Hampshire to California. This is by far one of the best Chinese restaurants we’ve ever had. I’ve never had chicken in my Chinese food that was not over cooked..until this place.

Some locals recommended this place to me, said they were fantastic. The place looked very rundown, chips in the paint over the hole in the wall for ordering and nothing at all in the dining area but a table with some magazines on it…but I decided to give it a go anyway. (Not even your basic paintings and Chinese decor…looked liked they were about to shut down entirely)

I have to say that I’m very picky with my Chinese food wants. My top pick is Pink Bamboo in Portsmouth. But we’ve moved to Somersworth. We tried a couple places here and was not happy. Tonight I decide to try Happy City. It is now definitely up on my favorite places. The quality, texture, and flavor were spot on with what I love and expect. Loved everything I ordered. Food was ready for pick up very fast.

This place deserves to be shut down. Went here with my friend who is deathly allergic to peanuts she told the lady to make sure there was no peanuts in her pad Thai because she’s allergic. When she got her Oder there were a few peanuts in it so she told them and they told her to pick them out. When she explained to them that she can’t she’s deathly allergic they said “well we will just pick them out and give it back to you if you want it remade you have to pay again” what they did was absolutely rediculous will never go back and will make sure all our friends and family know never to go this horrible disrespectful place that has no respect or care for the well-being of their customers!

Had a delivery one night. Food was awful! Couldn’t eat it! Boneless ribs were like leather chicken under cooked! I have had some awful food bust this one takes the cake! Called them up & they said if we didn’t eat it we will refund your money So I packed it up on original Bag. They said leave it on your porch and we will pick it up. Well after 2 days of calling to have it pick up. They told don’t call no more we not gonna refund call ur card & report it!! I will never call them again!! Very rude

Wonton soup was the worst I ever had, hot and sour was awesome. Wonton was over cook and nothing else in the broth, usually you get veggies and pork strip in the broth.
