Happy Dazs in under new ownership and much nicer than pre-covid days. I used to eat here back in the 70’s as Jack’s drive-in now it’s call Happy Dazs. They have some inside seating and picnic tables outside if you don’t want to eat in your vehicle. Friendly staff and great food at a reasonable price.

Ever since the new owners took over this place is great! The atmosphere inside is great for all ages and the food and ingredients is bought from all local farms, meat markets, and other local stores! They even have Michigan crafted and made special craft pop/soda in and change up the flavors every so often! Hope the grapefruit soda doesn’t go anywhere…it’s BETTER than the Original squirt! Food is awesome and prices are DEFINITELY cheaper than any of the local restaurants anywhere around BUT the portions are also huge! I’m usually the guy that will eat my burger and fries and then eat the kids leftovers but after my burger I was done! Make sure to swing through and check this place out! Breakfast is served all day as well!

If you’re passing by, you should stop for a bite. I loved the old time diner feel; the food matched the atmosphere, and it tasted absolutely great. Burger was a solid 10/10. The fries are better than any other fry you’ll get. Employees were happy to be there and just added to the experience. Definitely recommend for anyone and everyone I will be going back, and you should too!

Was there today waited 8 minutes for someone to take our order, two waitress came out and cleaned up trays. They looked at us and went in. A waitress was taking a order across from us and another car pulled in about 5 minutes after us and she took their order before ours. She could not get the order correct All we wanted was 1 onion ring 1chili dog with mustard and onions 1 chili dog with cheese and onions!!! That took forever and she was confused She placed our order then her and the owner came out and verified our order and explained the waitress was new. She didn’t charge us for our meal and when we got it there wasn’t cheese on one of the hot dogs. Yes we were upset about the wait and not understanding what we wanted. And it was still wrong. Whising them well couldn’t wait for it to open. Good luck. We are 2 hours away and went to Northwoods so we stopped there instead of our usual stop. Maybe in a few months when service is ironed out we will stop again
