This has been a consistent go-to Chinese takeout place over the years. The general tso’s chicken and the wonton soup are particularly good; the fried rice and lo mein noodles are pretty good. The appetizers are fine but nothing special. I never found the staff to be rude (quite the opposite) but to be honest I haven’t been there in about a year.

The review I am leaving is sadly based on the lady who answers the phone. She is extremely rude, acts as if you have inconvenienced her terribly by even calling, and even makes loud rude sighing sounds when you tell her you want to pay with a card. This has happened not once, not twice, but every single time I call to place an order. It’s very sad because the food is actually pretty good. That is the only reason I continue to order. I hope Happy Garden will consider moving her off a customer service position as it is honestly hurting their business. Worst customer service of any restaurant in Fall River.

Food is okay. Got jipped on My Teriyaki steak. Chicken fingers and french fries or packaged in a plastic container with a cover which made them soggy. When they came in a cardboard container the chicken fingers were Crispy as they should be. Wow this place went downhill!

This is such a shame because the food is good BUT the lady that answers the phone is terrible. She flat out lied to me when I tried to pay with a card and she told me they don’t take cards when they CLEARLY taken my cards before. Disgusting and rude customer service. Absolutely terrible. How hard is it to punch in card information? smh

This rating is based on the person that answers the phone… the food is GREAT, but I’ve never had such awful phone service and this has happened several times… VERY RUDE, and quite mean. Almost making me want to cancel my order. When the female called me back because she put my card in wrong, she never said who she was, just said ‘card again’ and then ‘30 mins’! SHE SHOULD NOT BE ANSWERING THE PHONE OR DEALING WITH THE PUBLIC!!
