Lovely place, breathtaking views, wonderful food and atmosphere, welcoming and profesional staff, everything was superb! Specially the burgers. The only thing is that mosquitoes where out that night, wish we had some citronella so we could of stayed longer but we where being attacked by them! So take some if you are planing to be near the lake. Other than that …must go!!!

This place is amazing! Right on the Hebgen lake we found this place by accident and decided to stop in. My husband said the garlic burger with the jalapeño cheese spread is the best burger he’s ever had! I had the chicken bourbon with Swiss and it was the absolute best chicken sandwich I’ve ever had! The owner and bartender were absolutely amazing.. I love to talk and even though they were busy they took time to have some great conversations with me! This is an absolute must stop by and have a drink and some truly amazing food!

I would give it 10 stars if I could! This place is nothing fancy, but it is the best bar and grill ever! Amy was fantastic. She recommended awesome food and awesome drinks. This bar has PERSONALITY. The new owner has done a terrific job at keeping the uniqueness of this place… and an even better job at cleaning it up.

Definitely a Happy Hour (or 2)! Our friends from Bozeman recommended Happy Hour as a dinner stop on our way to Beaver Creek. We sat on the ‘bow’ which is their boat shaped deck, and enjoyed a few drinks and a filling meal at sunset. This is a classic American lake bar and grill with plenty of tradition. Try ordering a mule on the deck and see what happens, just be ready to have a good time! Thanks Bud & Karen, we’ll be back next time we’re in MT.

Loved it! The girl behind the bar was ace! The decoration is authentic and hilarious… looking for the stained ladies underwear above the bar! The window in the restroom is also hilarious. The food was delicious. A historic little find which we will definitely visit again. We have attached the only British bank note (we think) down by the bar. If you visit, be sure to try and find, and to upload a pic. Oh, and try to find Bob the retired cop. He is a lovely guy.

Great little place on Hebgen Lake! The food was SO GOOD- we were pleasantly surprised for a little lakeside joint- and the service was great- she was working alone and tackling the bar, the food, the service, and the management. Definitely a good stop after a day of boating and fishing.

I recently ate here with a friend of mine that was visiting from Texas. I was recommended this place by a Yellowstone National Park employee. I am beyond grateful they recommended this place. We got here early enough to get a spot on the deck overlooking the lake. There are not tons of tables outside so get there early if you want an outside seat. It’s a beautiful view of the lake and mountains. It’s also nice to watch the boat traffic come in and leave. The food was great. I ordered the garlic burger and my friend ordered the fish and chips. It didn’t take long for our food to come out and the service was with a great smile! We got beers while we were there but they had a great selection of mixed drinks as well. I can’t recommend this place enough, especially if you want to get away from the busy small town of West Yellowstone and hang with the locals.
