This location is very inconsistent with the quality of their pizza. I used to really enjoy the pizza and would drive from Bloomington to get some Happy Joe’s. I will no longer be doing that. I have no idea how a fresh out of oven pizza is not hot, and the pizza was dark colored as if it was sitting under a heat lamp for 2 hours and the grease just soaked into the pizza. The employees here give you attitude and / or not even cared when we ask questions about the pizza. Oh, and the Taco Pizza didn’t have tomatoes on it. Casey’s Taco Pizza is way better than this and probably half the cost.

The buffet was awful. Everything was old and stale and I was there at 1pm. There were only 2 other occupied tables at that time. I should have taken that as a sign. The manager who was also my server, was super nice, but was completely caught off guard when I ordered a fudge pecan sundae. They didn’t have any pecans! She said nobody ever orders a Sundae. That was one of the reasons I stopped here. I’ll never go back. I feel bad for her because I think she’s managing a sinking ship

Short staffed because management sent a waitress home. Friday night of railroad days and the manager didn’t think they would be busy. The place was packed. Our wait was over an hour. Your response makes me think you really don’t care. Our money spends well in other places.

Made it home for the weekend and had to have my favorite before I left! Happy Joe’s Pizza has been around since I was a kid and it has not changed at all!! Based out of the Quad Cities Happy Joe started his business back in the 70’s. While Joe is no longer with us, his tradition lives on in all its glory! If you ever get to the Midwest, give it a shot! The Canadian bacon is famous!

I went to Happy Joe’s for the buffet and the pizza was absolutely cold and stale. I am not a picky eater but was expecting more than this. I like Happy Joe’s pizza when it’s hot and fresh but this was not the case. I asked for pizza sauce and was givin hot tomato soup. It was not their pizza sauce.

Slow service I forgive a little because they looked short staffed and the food was good. However, a lot of the games didn’t work, there was no one to cash out our tickets and even if there was the amount of tickets they want for the prizes they have is a little high. My grandson chose Happy Joe’s because of the lovely atmosphere they portray, but in reality, it’s not even close to the way they advertise. My suggestion would be if you have the choice, go to pizza ranch it’s much better and would have been cheaper and more fun.

Delicious and fresh! Staff was very friendly and attentive. Kept the drinks filled and checked on us often. Ice cream was perfect ending. Interior was very clean and all was new. Highly recommend for the whole family.
