We’ve picked up sushi a Happy Sumo a few times and it never disappoints! I recommend both the Philly roll and spicy salmon roll. The staff is friendly and the place is always clean and looks nice. The bathrooms were clean and in good order. I took off 1 star because they didn’t include any soy sauce or utensils in our to-go order.

Visiting from Dallas; craving sushi so why not here in Colorado. Was greeted at the host stand and seated promptly. Our waitress Mandy was attentive and intermittently friendly but she did forget to put the order in for the Thai lettuce wraps; came out shortly after I asked about it. Sushi/sashimi was ok, the rolls lacked flavor. The Thai lettuce wraps was presented with a head of lettuce. We were so hungry so we ate everything anyways. Pretty pricey for not so good quality; I’ve had better. The mochi was good.

My husband and I went here for happy hour before a movie the other night, and we loved it. It’s been a couple of years since we have been there last but the food and service were still great. The happy hour menu makes this a cheap and delicious date night. The sake cocktails are also unique and half off during happy hour.

Been here before but couldn’t remember anything special. The staff is friendly. The first table we sat at was wobbling. Yes spicy tuna is supposed to have spice in it, but it shouldn’t be so spicy that you couldn’t enjoy the flavor of tuna. The fried rice was a nice portion but the chicken in the fried rice was dry and a little chewy.

I’ve been coming to Happy Sumo for years and they’re consistently good. All the specialty sushi rolls are great, the sashimi is fresh, there’s plenty of grill options if you don’t want anything raw, and they are great with dietary restrictions. I took a friend who eats dairy free and they’ll take any sauce/cream cheese out upon request, and they also have a small menu that shows you which sauces contain gluten. It’s usually very fast service and friendly wait staff. My favorite specialty rolls are the diva and the alaska roll!

The server was kind but the service hardly existed. Was extremely slow. Seemed like the girls were more concerned about their phones. The hostess did her job was on her phone a lot too but put it down because she never missed a customer. The spicy edamame tasted like red hot with ketchup. The rest of our meal was delicious and beautifully prepared.
