Was very skittish to try this place but we decided to give it a shot because they’ve been there forever. Turns out they have THE best sashimi in town. Yes, the best. It’s always nice, fresh and good portions. The love boat is my go to and the price is the best one in town as well. At first I would’ve never thought it would be so good but if you a local and love asian cuisine like me then you must visit this little family owned restaurant. Hey, they’ve been in business since 1994 for a reason. Trust me, it won’t disappoint.

If you are like me and love to support mom/pop businesses then you should give Happy Teriyaki a try. You can dine in or carry out. They have options of Sushi, noodle based, or rice based asian meals that are delicious and cost efficient. The owners and staff are very friendly and will put in the effort to win your repeat business. I give this place an A+.

Staff was great, sushi and ingredients were fresh. The portion of poke bowl was perfect! Glad they start open their dining room. Their spicy conch and volcano roll are must try, we’ll definitely be back!

I would give more than 5 if I could. The food is fresh and tastes so good, I ordered a second plate. The spicy conch roll was delicious. The vegetables were crisp and the shrimp was not over cooked and gummy (shrimp chop suey). If you haven’t tried it, make it a priority to try it.

All the food is excellent, but the fresh salad with ginger dressing, and the egg drop soup is the best I’ve ever had. I always stop to eat there whenever I’m in that area. Service is friendly and attentive. Highly recommended.

I have been eating here almost as long as they have been open. Jeannie and Penguin are such great people. Sushi is always fresh and the kitchen food is prepared very nicely. They should be on Diners Drive-ins and Dives. Great place!

This place has been around for decades. It’s perfect for fast and decently priced sushi that is actually an alright quality. Other places serve average sushi and charge premium prices. Happy Teriyaki has always been a good price for what you get. Everything is always fresh and tastes good. She owners are awesome and it is definitely worth visiting!
