These tacos were fire! We tried the pork tacos, lamb cheeseburger, smoked potato, and crispy shrimp tacos. Each had so much flavor and their own unique toppings. It’s hard to pick our favorites but we especially loved the shrimp and cheeseburger tacos. It’s located inside the Little Fleet food truck area so we also got to enjoy some drinks! Dogs allowed which was also great.

Have visited Happy Tacos a few times now—it’s tucked inside Little Fleet, and I have to say the food is amazing. Despite the limited menu, I also really appreciated that they had vegetarian options available for my vegetarian friends.

I ordered the crispy shrimp taco and smoked potato taco and both were very good. Surprisingly the smoked potato taco ended up being my favorite. My SIL had the same order and concurred. The atmosphere of the area is correct when people say “family friendly.” No one will be able to tell if you have a screaming or crying child, as it’s plenty loud. It’s just almost too loud with the music and people trying to talk to each other over the music.

We had really high hopes for this place! We ordered the chips and salsa (delicious), the cheese burger taco (decent but not great), the shrimp taco (the best option in our opinion), and the pork street taco (a bit too dry, better with salsa!). There aren’t many options but overall a decent spot. Great environment, great location. Next time we may try the burrito instead!

We came to the food truck area to give the kids an option to choose their own kinds of food. All were good be the real star of the show was the smoked potato taco from Happy’s. I will be thinking about this taco for some time. Sooo good….so very good. It has all the flavors and textures going on. I did not ever think I would love a potato taco this much. It has to be one of the best tacos I have ever had. I will wanting another until I can make it back for more. Great job! Definitely try this taco if you are in Traverse City.

I love this spot because it’s downtown and inside the little Fleet so it’s the perfect place for anyone to enjoy. This place is delicious I’ve been coming here for years. They added a new menu item, a Crunchwrap Supreme and you can choose your protein. It is the best Crunchwrap Supreme I’ve ever had in my life. I love it with the grilled chicken. Thank you guys so much for the amazing service and food as always I appreciate you.

You really have to like spicy food to eat here, I ordered the regular super burrito, not the spicy super burrito, and it still had a kick. This is not authentic Mexican food but they’re not trying to be either, it’s more niche, so if you’re looking for something different this is a good place. The outdoor seating and fireplaces were nice and indoor seating was socially distant. Staff was great, very friendly. Kind of overpriced though, so that and the smaller portion size is why it gets four stars.

Definitely some of the best food in TC in my honest opinion. The foods always warm and delicious and I order at least once a week Their crunchwrap supreme is something I think I could eat for every meal of my life if possible. Also the staff is awesome and super nice!!!
