We had the risotto crab cakes that were incredible! Entrées were Whitefish wrapped bacon which was dry. The plank salmon trout was also amazing. Our waitress was excellent!

Wow! What a great place to dine. I would give it six stars if I could. We came here on a recommendation from a friend. We were seated with the lake view. Danielle (Dani) our server was awesome and very attentive-she’s a keeper. The experience and food was the best I’ve had in a long time especially post-Covid when customer service is at an all-time low. I came up with my son and my father-in-law for a boys trip. The jagerwurst was amazing! My bacon wrapped scallops with risotto and the sauce was balsamic vinegar and butter mixed with apricot and horse radish glaze. Yum! Kudos to the chef. My son got the grilled whitefish platter and he gave it a 10. My caramel macchiato martini was spot on. The creme brulee with Luxardo cherries soaked in grenadine was fantastic. This restaurant reminded me of a cross between Zehnders (or Bavarian Inn) of Frankenmuth and the Lewiston Lodge (on the lake). Thank you so much for making this a highlight of our trip!

Amazing food, excellent service, and a beautiful view! The experience was wonderful and I highly recommend stopping in if you’re looking for a delicious one of a kind meal. They have a good selection of craft beer, local spirits and wine. The atmosphere was cozy, we had a lake view, the staff was friendly and attentive. I plan on stopping in next time I’m in the area.

Amazing restaurant right on the water with every table giving you a phenomenal view and ambiance as you savor every delicious bite of carefully crafted food and drink. The staff is impeccably friendly and hospitable. We started by ordering old fashions, brandy sweet for my husband and bourbon sweet for me. The bartender was spot on from muddling cherries and oranges, to consistency and balance of the liquor and bitters. We then, had the shrimp toast appetizer which was chock full of plump, tasty, well seasoned tiger shrimp on fresh pretzel bread complimented with a mustard butter. We then shared the bacon wrapped whitefish and pork tenderloin chateubriand. Both entrees were delicious, perfectly prepared culinary experiences, although we both agreed the whitefish edged out for the top spot. The grand finale was the apple bread pudding with maple nut ice cream and caramel drizzle, can’t think of a better way to conclude a full day of the UP and leaf scouting!

I had the same experience as others. No takeout as advertised and very rude hostess. On one of your owner comments you stated you would be removing the takeout from you’re website. That was 2 years ago. Had I known this I wouldn’t have wasted my time. You might have informed your staff of this. Instead you choose to mislead people. You do not value people or their time.

We ordered take out on a gloomy day to bring back to our cabin and the food was excellent! It doesn’t say on the menu online, but every entree comes with a salad and a side dish! The take out was packaged perfectly and the servers were very accommodating to our requests. Looked like a beautiful restaurant to sit on the patio on a nicer weather day!

I selected the Harbor Haus Restaurant for dinner on a special day, mostly because of my German heritage. The view of the harbor from the second floor dining area was spectacular, the service was great too. What made the meal all the more exceptional was … EVERYTHING was exceptional! From the garden salad to the braised beef short ribs and topped off with the Black Forest Cream Torte.
