We really enjoyed our food. Our server, Paula, was amazing. This will definitely be a place we return back too. Excellent fish. Their cheesecake was the best I’ve ever had!

Went to lunch with a friend. I had the black bean burger & fries. It was good but just cooked a little bit to long. We sat where we could get a lake view and it was nice!

Not real fancy however, the food was the best I’ve eaten in Northern Michigan in the 6 years I’ve lived up here. The staff were wonderful, very kind, knowable of menue items and efficient. The view was very pretty we will definitely be eating there again.

While visiting Mackinaw City, we talked with some folks who highly recommended Harbor Lights. On a very rainy ]morning, we made the short trip to experience for ourselves. We weren’t disappointed! The interior is bright and clean, as were the restrooms (something that is hard to find these days). We were able to sit looking out on the lake. We both enjoyed blueberry pancakes, which were bursting with blueberry goodness. As we exited to pay we couldn’t help notice the amazing deserts and a small, inviting ice cream parlor! The chocolate cake was a work of art and the cherry pie looked wonderful. However, the case filled with a selection of homemade cheesecakes couldn’t be ignored! After great deliberation, we decided on the Reeses Peanut Butter to go. After a long day exploring and traveling home, we sampled our treasure. This is truly a cheesecake not to be missed! This might not have been my immediate choice, but it is amazing!!! If you’re in close proximity, don’t hesitate to give Harbor Lights a visit!

This place is terrific! Magical Harbor view, welcoming attitude, decor, and table service by waitresses. Quite and nice for everyone. I have tried Moz Omelette, portions are quite big, enough for two

I do not usually write negative reviews but I was incredibly disappointed today at lunch at Harbor Lights. My husband has a serious nut allergy. Prior to ordering dessert we inquired with our waitress if there were nuts in the type of cheesecake. Waitress said she did not know but went to ask someone. A second waitress came up to our table and said “No” with no context and walked away. My husband took a bite of the dessert and immediately started to have a reaction. When we cashed out I mentioned to the second waitress (who was also cashing us out) that as an FYI the cheesecake did in fact have nuts or had come into contact with nuts at some point. She looked at me blankly and said “No there wasn’t”. I mentioned that at this point my husband was now in the parking lot taking Benadryl and trying to rinse out his mouth. She again so “No”. I walked out. Incredibly disappointing considering how prevalent food allergies are now. I understand that there is no way of completely knowing the ingredients however when a customer lets you know that there was an allergen in a dish you listen if nothing else but to protect the next customer. Families with food allergies beware!!!

Found this gem on the way home from Mackinaw city. All the restaurants were extremely busy in the city so we headed south. I found this place on Google and wow. Everything we had, meatloaf, burger and soup were home made and perfectly seasoned. The view of the lake was great I am glad I found this place and hopefully stop here again when I head north.

What a nice little surprise on our travels! We stopped for breakfast, it was hard to choose what to order, most of my favorite breakfast dishes are on the menu! I ordered the steak and eggs, which I received to perfectly as ordered! My daughter got the skillet which she enjoyed as well. My husband ordered Doms breakfast and cinnamon roll french toast..which is huge! The waitress was super friendly, courteous, and extremely hospitable. The restaurant provided a cozy and comfortable atmosphere with a beautiful view of Lake Paradise. Overall an awesome experience that we hope to enjoy again. Thank you so much!!

Harbor Lights has been Open for about 5 years now. Locally owned, the business is very seasonal. It’s only busy between Memorial and Labor days. A beautiful lake view, often with ducks and geese. The wait-staff is always perfecto in their attention. Nice decor, and great desserts. We have noticed a decline in the food Quality, with the dishes tasting like they are using more canned and ready-made ingredients. Prices are about in-line with many Tourist eateries.
