Over this Memorial Day weekend, I had visited the harbor market to pick up lunch for my family. Decided to order there and ask for take out. I had a bad experience with a female cashier. Didn’t ask for her name, she was a pale brown haired young girl. I understand that places like the harbor market are summer jobs for young people. But her behavior with assisting me with my fairly big order was unacceptable. The food here is great 10/10! But with such a younger age group running the place make the service awful. She kept making bad remarks on how much I was ordering and the questions I asked. She purposely put my food in my bag in a way where it got all over the bag. Rolled her eyes when I refused to tip. It was an uncomfortable experience. Harbor market please double check who you’re hiring. Even if the food is great I will no longer be going here. Someone recently reviewed the place and it may or may not be the same employee.

I am a regular at harbor market. Food is great and service is great too. But I had an incident with worker by the name of Joana. She was very rude when I was ordering as rolling her eyes at my son and I. Being smart by saying “if people only knew what they were going to order” when a male co worker asked her to help him out. No one has ever treated me like that at harbor market. Very upset with the situation as when I took a look at my food she had slammed everything in that my food was all over my bag. Do better thank you. I have also made a yelp review I am able to provide and day and time as well as my receipt

I had food catered for a birthday brunch, Jill was fantastic with communications from start to finish. My guests enjoyed all the food, the sandwiches were a hit! The fruit kabobs and quiches are fabulous!!

My first time eating in today. I ordered the Coconut yogurt bowl. And my client had a pizzette. My Non Dairy coconut Yogurt with fresh granola and berries was delicious. Staff was friendly. Only down side is that There isn’t very much seating here to eat in but we managed to squeeze in with other guests.

Food was fine – service was not so great. This is clearly the summer job spot for a lot of Hamptons high schoolers and the service reflected that. Long waits, unclear communication, staff goofing off, etc.
