Went through the drive-thru Monday night about 5:15 to order a sandwich for a friend who was in my vehicle. I ordered him a combo with a small drink. I was told to pull around for my total. When I got around there the young man was sitting on a stool or something with his foot up on the wall. He asked me would I be paying with cash or card and when I replied that I would be paying cash, he told me that my total was $40.10. When my response was … he had to be crazy…… he said “no sir that’s what your total is.” He told me you ordered the monster burger and that’s what it cost. I told him that he better call a manager over there because that could not be accurate a combo does not equal $40. He then said “oh I’m sorry sir it’s $20.10” I said “$20 for a combo”? He said “yes sir”. I said “do I get a receipt with this order”? He replied “yeah”. After giving him the $20 bill I asked him for my receipt to show the total and he replied “you’ll get your receipt when you get your order and I need you to pull up and I’ll bring your order out to you when it’s ready” . There were no cars behind me or any cars ordering behind me at the drive-thru speaker so I didn’t understand why I had to pull up. I pulled up and waited about 10 minutes at which point he brought a bag out which was wadded up like he was about to throw it in the trash and he handed it to me without a drink and without a receipt. I replied “Where’s my receipt?” He said “I don’t know sir I guess it’s inside or something.” I said Where’s the drink that comes with the combo and he replied “you didn’t order a drink you just ordered a sandwich.” I said “so you charged me $20 for one sandwich?” And then I said listen just give me my money back I don’t want the food or to talk to you anymore I just want my money back. I then walked in and told management to give me my money back and to keep whatever was in that bag that was wadded up. They gave me a little bit of difficulty but with my assertive demeanor they gave me my $20 back and I will never eat at that Hardee’s between now and the time it goes out of business due to its lack of management and customer service. It is my opinion that they are not ringing up orders and stealing money from the company by giving fake totals and not printing receipts. His attitude with me about requesting a receipt led me to believe that his frustration proved right my suspicions. I wish I had a number to call and report them but Hardee’s only has a message board that you can leave an online comment. I will never eat at that Hardee’s again. What a horrible experience. Absolutely horrible!

Bad service. Last time I came here, I sat in line for over 20 minutes without moving after placing my order, and had to leave because I didn’t have time to wait. This time, I go there to get dinner after working all day, and they closed 2 hours early. She said “we’re closing at 7 this week,” when they’re supposed to be open until 9. If you can’t get enough staff to run your store normal hours, pay your workers better and in the meantime the franchise OWNER should be in the store covering shifts. But they clearly don’t care about their business and let it get run poorly.

The atmosphere was unfriendly, rude and it took 15mins at least to get my order on top of that it was made wrong and room temperature.. what happened to the night crew that was here a few months back??? I loved coming here then they were awesome the cook “Tj” or “Thomas” I think his name was made some incredible fast food.. you could tell he took pride in what he was doing.. idk what happened but I would never have let him go if I was running that place because if he was cooking I would eat anything on the menu

This Hardees is horrible. The food is nasty and no one hardly eats there anymore. This RV has been parked in their parking lot over 2 weeks with no tag. What kind of management allows that? Where is the pride in this restaurant?

Im not shocked to see other reviews about the manager being rude. We only went to Hardee’s today because Bojangles’ card machine was down. Tell me why the manager if that’s what you want to call her is berating the girl working the cash register. I even asked the cashier where her manager was and she said that lady was her manager. I can’t get ahold of the GM, but I was told to leave a review and the GM might reach out to me. It’s disgusting to listen to someone who is of authority fuss at their employees. So when the manager walked my food out I made it known that her behavior towards her cashier was unacceptable, and she wanted to come off with excuses like the line was wrapped around the building. I do not care if the line was out in the highway, you don’t talk to anyone with disrespect like that. If you can’t be kind while under stress then you don’t need to be a manager. She is definitely not manager material, and she needs to take a few lessons in customer service. I’ll drive to hickory before I come back here.

I usually go for breakfast during the week. Was there on a Saturday this time. It was about 11:15, well after breakfast hours. Drive-thru board was still on breakfast. Cashier said they were no longer serving that, so we ordered two cheeseburger combo’s. We then sat in line for a Drive thru eternity. Finally got to the window. We could hear staff yelling about breakfast items being made, even though they were no longer serving that. Apparently, the people behind us got to order breakfast. Anyway, after another eternity, we finally got our order. Our burgers were cold, the buns stale, and the fries were inedible. Avoid this place like the plague. I will not be going back unless every other fast food place closes.

I had to wait for biscuits which was fine until I saw them take a biscuit back thru the drive-thru window and put it in the gravy biscuit container and tried to serve it to me I was extremely upset and asked for a fresh one…they still ended up giving it away

Normally this is an okay place for food… sometimes get right sometimes not…. nothing special. Last visit-food was ckd before leaving and wrg.. they fixed. 4 min drive home. Food still hot. The Burger was the worst I have ever eaten in 60 + years. The meat was grey.. all the way thru. bread -soaking wet soggy-Taste believably nasty.I will go back one day, BUT only for breakfast items..
