Thursday April 20, 2023 was in town and visited for dinner. The young man taking my order at the drive thru I could not even understand. He didn’t offer a different size just told me pull to the window. The girl at the window was rude. I order extra pickles, I got NO pickles. I requested extra ketchup she snobelly said I push ketchup up in there. My fries were half full and mostly dumped in the bag. Very poor service.

Not even open and it’s 6:30pm. Ok here is another thing I can add. Since I posted they were closed because there is one car in parking lot and doors locked one person was standing outside not in a Hardee’s uniform No sign of anyone inside and no sign on door saying drive thru only. So why would you not think it’s closed. So I went to qt to eat. While I was in there a person approached my wife asking if she new me and she said yes. They said we are open I stood there and watched he didn’t go thru the drive thru. They starred at us from the business. How to be professional. I can assure you they wouldn’t talk to me like they talked to my wife. She didn’t want me to confront here so I didn’t. Never will return. Some good customer service training is needed.

Food was absolutely disgusting. My lettuce was yellow they put a bottom from a child’s burger for the bottom of a large burger. The tomato looked gross as well. The other burger was dry and smashed it was suppose to be a big burger with bacon it looked horrible. Fries was cold an dry. I would not recommend eating here. This was a mistake to try an eat local will never stop here again.

I went through the drive through and was asked to pull into a parking spot to wait. I understand. But then like 10 or 12 minutes pass and several cars get their food before anyone brings mine to me. Then the food was not even good. I got a biscuit and gravy and the gravy was a soup. Watery and flavorless, it got all over me when I tried to eat it. The chicken was hot but rubbery and you couldn’t even tear it. Biscuits were good though. But if I’d have known everything else was going to be bad I’d have just gotten two jelly biscuits and called it a day.

Edit 2023: By far the worst Hardee’s/Carl’s Jr anywhere. We made the mistake of trying again and despite it saying “Red Burrito” on the side of the building and the sign in the parking lot, they said they stopped selling Red Burrito items over two years ago. I ordered the chicken strips and received the smallest, most disgusting, dripping in oil excuses for chicken strips that I’ve ever had. There was no breading whatsoever. If I wasn’t already down the road by the time I opened the package I would have returned for a refund. It wasn’t worth the waste of time and gas to go back.

People are very nice, but the breakfast sandwich I ordered tasted mostly like cooking grease. I know some restaurants reuse their oil, but you cannot make customers happy unless the food is fresh. This is why there is ONLY one location left in town.

I started coming here a couple months ago and really enjoyed the Star Burger with cheese combo. This particular time it was cold, and had tons of ketchup (normally mayo is the main condiment). I started to eat it, but said, this is cold and doesn’t taste like normal, usually really good. I went around to order another one asking to put mayonnaise on this one. They gave me another one with more ketchup, hardly any mayo, and it just was not as good…something really changed. That’s it for me going there again. Lady asked for the first burger back and says, “well you ate most of it.” I ate more hoping it would get better….I’m like, what kind of establishment ever asks for the food back? None. I said, “I don’t mind paying for the 2nd one”….I just wanted a good one and done correctly. She says, “no that’s okay.” She should have not said a word and just honor the customer. Fix your staff, put people first, and you’ll have tons of customers. It’s all in management.

The staff is slow and incompetent. Manager is extremely rude and acts like she’s working on the street. Took 25 mins in the drive thru to receive a mobile order because “we can’t see the order.” How do you fill the be order if you can’t SEE the order. Just shut this location down too.

Went thru drive thru. Not able to order shakes because “no ice cream.” Ordered 4 items only received 3, 2 of which were incorrect items completely.The burger was cold and bun hard like it had been sitting for hours. Tried call manager and Michelle just said they would replace order next time. 2nd bad experience at this location, there will not be a 3rd attempt.
