The food at Hardee’s in Saraland is always good. I especially like the biscuits! But service is slow, at best. The dining room is not the cleanest, and I’ve stopped going inside at all. I only go there for drive-thru.

I tried to order at this location on Saturday. I have a large family and I arrived in the drive thru at about 11:30. I passed the stand alone menu and went to the one with the speaker because I knew I wouldn’t remember everyone’s order. When I got to the menu board it was still on breakfast. The person on the speaker answered with an attitude. I asked if they were still serving breakfast I was told no and I told her the board was still on breakfast and asked if she could tell me what was on the lunch menu. I know these boards can be turned to the lunch menu and it was an hour after lunch had started. I was told there was another menu board I could back up to. I asked was I supposed to remember everything when I pulled back up. I was answered with a what. I backed up to try to figure out my order. I pulled back up to the speaker to try to place the order. When I began asking for my first item the person acted as if they could not hear me. I repeated myself at least 3 times. I ended up not ordering and pulling off . The back door of the restaurant was open and the noises coming from inside was like someone was throwing utensils and pans around. I went next door to McDonald’s I did not want it but I refused to try anymore at Hardee’s. I was the only customer at Hardee’s when I was treated that way the two restaurants on either side of Hardee’s were full of customers. Hardee’s parking lot was a ghost town at the beginning of the lunch rush and now I know why. I feel sorry for the owner, if everyone is treated the way I was business will continue to suffer and eventually end. I was angry and disappointed.

Ordered the BFC with beyond meat. Paid $2 more to swap out the pattie only to be so disappointed. Too burned to taste any flavors, not even the jalapenos surpassed the burnt taste. The fried cheese was so hard and overcooked, there was barely any cheese inside it. Just hard, fried grease. Didn’t come with the bun as pictured. Paid $12.47 for a combo that I couldn’t eat. And to top it off, there was no coke zero. Extremely disappointed. The burger looked nothing like the advertised picture and tasted horrible. Waste of money.
