This store is generally pretty fast and accurate at the drive thru in the early mornings. I rarely come here for lunch. Today I came in at around 1:15pm. Entry floors were dirty. The primary dining room floor was very dirty. Tables were relatively clean, with a few dirty. The lady at the front counter was on her cell phone watching videos. She told me she would be with me in a minute after about a minute. Then went to pour a drink cup back into the tea dispenser. She took my order and then went back to watching videos on her cell phone with her back to me at the counter. She didn’t even offer me my receipt she was so quick to go back to her videos. I reached over and tore my own receipt off her printer. My food came up and she was to busy watching videos of a girl dancing to pay attention. She didn’t even remotely try to hide that she was watching videos. I went and ate my food. Three more people came in while I was there and each time she had her back to the counter watching videos. Each time she didn’t immediately notice the person at the counter. Receipt said Rachel. She obviously needs more to do.

Waited at counter for service for several minutes before anyone responded. We could hear staff talking. We were only customers. When we finally did place our order for food I was given the option of a medium or large combo and my son was given the option of a small or medium combo. I asked could I change and get a small combo as well. And he said yes you can change it. I asked both times very specifically for no cheese on my sandwich. He said nothing has changed with your order except the size. When we finally did get our order the fries were cold, soggy, and I had cheese on my sandwich. Not so impressed this time!

Had 2 breakfast platters,1 pork chop (great taste + good size, other had sauge very , potatoes and biscuits with gravy very good . They were very busy but kept food coming steady. They do a very good job. Better than other locations . Blueberry tart was very tasty.

I went to the covert Ave store in Evansville today. My card wasn’t working properly and I had $10 cash on me. Amon, the assistant manager, was such an incredible help through it all. He gave my daughter her food for free so she could eat. He was very understanding of the situation and I couldn’t have asked for a better experience and better person to help me through it. I will definitely be back in the future even it’s only because of this experience. Although we love the food also haha thank you Amon for all of your help today, your understanding and everything you did. It will not be forgotten.

I walked to this Hardee’s and walked home called numerous times to tell them that a sandwich has no meat I’m guessing it was the cook who answered the phone and told me there was no meat? no because I made the sandwiches myself I said well there’s no meat smh walked back to get me a new sandwich should of just asked for a refund.

Good food, helpful friendly staff But like everyone else they seem to be having trouble keeping enough people on staff to keep the operation running. I don’t believe the dining room was open, just the drive through line you see in the picture. The ordering station is on the far side of the building the line is moving towards and when I pulled in about 10:10 a.m. that line was all the way out to the entry drive at the street. 37 minutes from the time I turned off the street into their parking lot until the time I left the pickup window with my order. They have always been a bit slower than many other fast food operations but if today’s experience is becoming the norm good food and friendly helpful staff is not going to be enough to keep me going back.
