Update my review. If you haven’t been in Hardee’s in awhile give another try. I believe different employees. The food (Breakfast platter) is delicious. And I had the friendliest service. I went thru drive thru and my order was accurate when I got home .

Edit: I couldn’t remember why I don’t eat hardees anymore so I decided to go back… 16 minutes for a single chicken sandwich and my bun is charcoal. This is inedible.

Get breakfast here, not lunch. Let’s face it. Since Carl’s jr bought Hardees, the food has been bad. The new thickburgers are a great improvement over the sliced charcoal brickettes they used to sell. This restaurant is new. The staff is new. They are done with their “break-in” period by now and are getting orders out fast and accurately. Their breakfast menu is great. Lunch still more expensive (avg $8 per meal) than other burger joints. There is no “value menu”. No kid’s meals. Only one basic salad option. No fruit. The place is exceptionally clean however, and the bathrooms are clean. Coke no pepsi – that’s a good thing.

Couldnt wait to try this place! I had a bacon thick burger here a week after opening and some of their chicken tenders. Both were hot and delicious!! The tenders are really good with some of their tastey honey mustard. I read the other reviews about issues on opening day, things happen I guess on day one. Our visit was smooth and restaurant was nice looking and clean.

2 years ago i came here and watched a big guys bare belly skim the prep table as he made our food. Food sucked and took forever… was scared to eat the food. 2 years later… really wanted a ham and cheese so i risked it again…. ordered the big one but got pressured by the window chick to take the small one she had put the order in as. So i did. Took like 5 minutes at the window. Sandwich was real small, meat was all packed together like it was probably portioned and stored that way, brown on one side and the whole sandwich looked like someone sat on it. Booooooo. Never again. Lafayette DOES NOT have a decent Hardees. Unless there is one on the west side I dont know about.

I used to work at a hardees, and I love their food. This one, unfortunately is bad. I stopped by for breakfast for awhile. Gave them more than one chance to clean their act up. Problems ranged from sour tasting ham to wrong orders. The last straw, I got a couple sausage egg and cheese biscuits one morning. Got them home and there were multiple hairs in both of them. One hair looked like a pube. I never went back.

This is our second trip to Hardee’s and I must say it will probably be our last. The first time we waited a total of 30 minutes to get two meals through the drive thru. The food was good once we got it.. 30 minutes later…The cashier also forgot to give me back my card so I had to drive back to get it…I should have reminded her to give it back but come on! The second time was just horrible. The first time around they gave us cold food and the second time our order wasn’t right. They put pickles on my sandwich and I specifically asked for no pickles. Avoid this establishment at all cost. By the looks of it, most people have. 0 stars.
