This small town Hardee’s restaurant just off US 30 in Mount Vernon was recently remodeled. It’s a spacious, clean and attractive fast food restaurant with widely spaced tables and generally relatively few eat-in customers. Attractive restrooms. If you like the Hardee’s food, you will not be disappointed here.

The land that time forgot. Place was weird. Employees lurking around and all space cadets. Waited for a carry out order for almost 20 minutes. And it was extremely overpriced. Place needs to be closed down. Never got the food and got a refund of the nearly $30.

SLOWEST fast food ever. 10 min wait at the speaker, 25 mins at the window, then they forgot fries. I just wanted. A refund at that point. Waited another 10 mins just to get that refund. The girl at the speaker was rude and kept saying “is that all… is that all… is that all…” the girl didn’t even have a name tag on so I couldn’t even complain with her name. Then, she had an attitude when I said they forgot fries. She kept saying they’re at the bottom. I drove off. It wasn’t worth it . Let me add they weren’t busy

The front end person change the screen the orders were showing up on for the back person and my order was still on the first screen. Two other customers were served before my order was even started. The person putting the food together had to be told how to make sandwiches. It took about 25 minutes to get my order.

We waited at least 20 minutes for food in the drivethrough. There were only 2 employees working. One clearly cared about doing a good job, but the other was in no hurry. We received our food and noticed there was only 1 sandwich and 1 fry in the bag. We had ordered 2 sandwiches. We waited another few minutes for the 2nd sandwich. If they don’t have more staff, they shouldn’t be open. Food was ok. Skip this place unless you feel like waiting.

We will never go there again! My sons and I went through the drive thru and ordered a roast beef combo, monster roast beef combo-no mayo, chicken sandwich combo-extra mayo and lettuce only, and an al a carte roast beef sandwich. I had to repeat everything several times but I felt someone was in training so not a big deal. He apparently wasn’t trained in repeating back orders though. When we got to the window, he was super friendly. The manager also had a headset, thus why we thought he was in training. Our meal was a mess! Monster roast beef had mayo so my son couldn’t eat it at all, the roast beef from the combo had a chunk of non chewable gristle, chicken sandwich had mayo, pickles and NO lettuce and we didn’t get the roast beef sandwich at all.

Ordered 2 combo meals waited 22 minutes from the time I paid. Was delivered cold food. Requested new fries that were at least warm. Long and short of it is I’ve never waited so long to get expensive cold food. 28 minutes for 2 combo meals. In the end I got hot fries and cold burgers
