I hated to give one star but the girl that bought the food to the car was nice so she gets that one star. The food get negative stars. Waste of time and money. I don’t have Hardee’s near so while traveling, I stopped here in hopes of getting my favorite ham and cheese sandwich. I like to go in restaurants especially ones I’ve never been to. The lobby was closed. I should have just have left then but I went through the drive thru. I got to the window and it was filthy. That was a major turn off. I can’t recall seeing a drive thru window that filthy. I had already ordered so I pulled over to wait for my food. I don’t know what the hell it was but it doesn’t resemble anything I’ve ever eaten at a Hardee’s. See pic below. I thought maybe something changed so I stopped at another a Hardee’s in Iowa and asked what kind of cheese do they put on ham and cheese. She confirmed a slice of Swiss. I don’t have a clue what the white substance is on the sandwich but it isn’t a slice of cheese not even melted cheese. The texture wasn’t even right. Needless to say, I didn’t eat it and because it was so mysterious, I was afraid to eat the cherry biscuit so that $6.69 and 20 min lost that I’ll never get back. I’m beyond PI**ED!!!

I came in just before close after work spent about $35 on food I got my food and went home to Davenport once I got to Davenport I started to distribute the food to my family and realized that it was the wrong order I looked in the back to see if there was a receipt to find no receipt they were already closed so I could not call them to complain I called in today and talked to the manager and she asked me what my order was I told her that I did not know I would have to ask my wife being she’s the one who wrote it down and sent me with the list she says you don’t even know what your order was and you want me to replace it and hangs up …..I want my money back or my food replaced and I should get something extra for wasting my time and gas and rudely hung up on by manager…

I haven’t been to Hardee’s in a long time so when I stopped in for a Frisco burgers, curly fries, and a coke… I was pleasantly surprised by how good they still are. Staff seemed friendly and they definitely were keeping themselves busy with orders and making sure everything was running smoothly.
