We stopped in this restaurant on our road trip back to Texas. My husband loves Hardee’s cheeseburgers, so we gave this place a try. I did not enjoy my roast beef sandwich as much as I hoped, and I think that it would benefit from some sort of Arby’s-like sauce. The best part of our family’s meal was the chicken strips: lots of tasty, juicy white meat!

I ordered a loaded omelet biscuit and got an egg & cheese biscuit. I had to wave down the person at the drive through after they gave me my food and asked for a straw and napkins i was not given either one. The drive through window was filthy, it did not look like it had been cleaned in months. I was already on the road before I realized I got the wrong food. The breakfast thing which I did get was cold and nasty.

Came to Hardee’s for breakfast and the drive through attendant, Jennifer, was very welcoming and bright as soon as the window opened and she went out of her way to make me feel taken care of. Our interaction this morning started my day on such a good note. My food also came out fast and hot and I was very satisfied!

We ordered the 2 for 5 burgers. We both took one bite and looked at each other. The bun was hard, and the burger was dried out, and edges were hard. Cheese wasn’t melted, and toppings were pretty slim to none. The condiments included ketchup and mustard, which were overbearing. The bun slid, and when I tried to wipe some off, the inside of the bun was already mushy. Which made me believe it had already been dressed and had sat for a while. And then reused and added more on top of what had already been sitting. At this point, I was only one bite in. After seeing and feeling the inside of the bun being as mushy as it was, and the outside as hard as it was and then the burger being Luke warm, dry, and crusty and non melted cheese, I went with my instincts and threw it away. I’m good on getting food poisoning from old food. My husband took 2 bites out of his before he did the same thing. We waisted money and were already back on the road…(traveling from Texas to IL) just as hungry as we were when we stopped.

Manager Jennifer and cashier upcharged me after I told them I wanted the regular size. I was assured that the extra was just the regular price but then when I looked at the receipt, I noticed that I was charge for a large instead of a regular. I had to jump through hoops to get my money back. I think it’s very dishonest for them to automatically charge you for a large when I specifically asked for the regular meal. Both of them assured me that it was “not my fault”, but they also made excuses as to how I was the one that made the mistake. It was not a lot of money, but it is the principle that you cannot just go charging people whatever you want. After Jennifer gave me my money back, she told me “I hope you have the day you deserve “ so not only did they try to steal my money she was also very inconsiderate and rude.

Me my wife and kid went in there. Ordered a very small meal. Took 11 minutes for us to get our meal. Then upon leaving my wife took my kid to the bathroom. They said there was no toilet paper. There was no soap. The trash can was filled with pads. It was disgusting. Do not recommend coming here. They do not care about customer service place is Very dirty tables were not clean

Everytime we have shown up, we have left without food. 3 occasions we waited over 20 minutes and couldn’t even order because we walked in and they’re focused on drive thru they make us stand there while they keep going. This time in particular the guy saw us with our kids. Another couple walked in. He waited on them knowing they were after us, took 3 more drive thru orders and told us again he’d be right with us. We left. Just downright ridiculous that they refuse to serve a family because of drive thru concerns. Never coming back, yall lost a consistent $50 order.

The employees try their best to make working on a two person crew work, but unfortunately, sometimes it isn’t achievable, and attitudes of upset customers wear off onto them and the food…. they really just need to throw a few more bucks out there and hire more help. A 30-minute drive thru trip to get cold fries and chicken strips shouldn’t be a thing when you went to get a shake, but of course, the machine to make those was broken

I got 6 soft tacos, 3 chicken for my daughter and 3 beef for myself. No drinks no sides.. it was 18 dollars. My daughters barely had any chicken and the beef was so horrible.. it was rather very old or very over cooked. I threw them away.. I couldn’t eat it. Never again.
