Since partners Spencer Slaine and Ken Halberg opened its doors in 2012, Harding’s has offered Manhattan’s Flatiron District a selection of artisanal American cuisine and craft spirits in a chic and rustic setting. With an emphasis on fresh, local ingredients, Executive Chef Joel Zaragoza’s menu celebrates seasonal American fare. Harding’s also offers an extensive American beer and wine menu, as well as an array of classic cocktails handcrafted by the restaurant’s expert mixologists. Exposed brick walls, antique mirrors, vintage chandeliers, and an over-sized, century-old American flag evoke an air of nostalgia in this two-level landmark building.

By far the best experience I’ve had in a long time with a progressive menu! The sliders are the best sliders I have ever eaten! They were so good that I decided to get the burger! The burger was awesome and is in my top three burgers of all time! The fries are so good that you’ll eat until there are no fries left!! Dessert was a classy mango sorbet! This restaurant was great just because of the food that the Execute Chef prepared, but the manager, all the servers and house staff rendered superior service! For this quality of food and service you would expect to pay an absorbent price! But for a three course meal with a refillable coke, it was under $60! This is a top-tier American food restaurant that should have a spotlight on all top ten food reviews in NYC and across the nation! Great service!

I was having a really rough day and just decided to stop by on my way home. It looks so charming on the outside and boy was I surprised when I walked in. The high ceilings, rustic yet homey interior, this establishment is the ideal bar/restaurant for any day or mood. I sat at the bar and was greeted by Nick… the cocktails?! I’ll just let them speak for themselves. He was attentive while allowing me space and never hovering. I decided to order some food and the quality was far more than I was expecting. I ordered the burger and Parmesan truffle fries and wow it was beyond anything I experienced. My food was presented by Ryan who also checked inin on me, made sure my water glass was full and that my glass of wine was properly topped off. Both Nick and Ryan checked in on me periodically and it was one of the top experiences I’ve had. Are you looking for a place to venture to for yourself or with others? Look no more. This place and their staff will top any other bar or restaurant you’ve ever been too.

for the price of steak (you would hope it had flavor) I didn’t care that they over cooked the steak a bit. but when you have to use the sauce you know that it was cooked half heartedly. Someone else got pasta and said it was dry and had no flavor. Tuna tar tar was good as long you don’t use the overpowering sauce. I don’t get how it gets good reviews. people really must just like the atmosphere because I don’t understand it.

Harding’s is a spirited pub that serves some very decent food. The inside design creates has a great classic bar feel and there is outside dining. I was impressed with the quality of the food and ordered the beef short rib. It was tender as you would expect and service was efficient. Servers paired the short rib well with a class of cabernet. Rather than my preferred one large ice cube the old fashion had smaller cubes of ice, but still balanced old fashion flavor.

Had a great meal here last night – sliders, chicken, salmon and truffle fries. Nice bottle of reasonably priced Pinot Grigio. Our sever Ariana was delightful.

Great bar and night scene. The later it gets, the busier. The bar itself has a huge hanging out space so you’re not on top of one another. Very chill vibe and can be a romantic spot if you choose (albeit a little loud between the music and people). Perfect for an after work get together or a night out. The dining room is very spacious as well, there’s even a second floor spot for a private group if needed. Must try the grilled octopus and cheese plate. Generous portions to boot.

Our team used to love coming to Harding’s after the workday. However, last week the staff were not very kind to us. We had one team member make a nasty face at us after was asked for an additional chair, accompanied by a huff and puff + overall bad attitude all night. It really brought down the feelings/vibe within our group. I will not be rebooking our team for dinner’s here due to this experience. I want to feel welcome where I am dining and not as if we are in inconvenience.
