Brisket was tender and smoky. Smokehouse beans were smoky and slightly spicy. Potato salad was also enjoyable. My wife had the pulled pork which was tender and delicious. The Mac & cheese was also enjoyable. Three tables of Outside seating.

Excellent excellent barbecue and sausage! We had it with the spicy sauce which was amazing. The beans had the perfect touch of spice, the Coleslaw was light and tangy and the potato salad was superb. I would highly recommend their food. It is a picnic seating atmosphere…. but weather was great when we went so it felt like we were at a picnic.

This place is a fantastic “gut” truck. A go too place for the best pulled pork and brisket. I pulled in thinking this is rolling the dice with only 57 reviews, But I went with my gut and my gut is thanking me. Tender, juicy very good. The only critical comment is the flavor could be more. More seasoning or rub or whatever. Give this food trailer a shot, you’ll be pleased.

I found their mobile food truck at Sam’s. The gentleman running it was kind, helpful, and let me just vent about some work stuff. A customer service trait that is rare. I got their Bull smoked brisket sandwich and, oh my goodness.. I have never had brisket so juicy! I’ve been trying to find time to get more but haven’t yet, but one thing is for sure. I WILL be coming back

We stopped in a week ago and it wasn’t for me. The meal was good but for the price I thought there should be more meat on the sandwich. We went back a few days ago and the sandwich was tastier than the first time and the portions were good. Definitely will be going back and hopefully I can tell my customers about my experience there and make Hardwoods are go to for brisket sandwiches

First time trying Hardwoods Smokehouse. I ordered brisket nachos and I was very pleased with what I received. This is by far the best brisket in the Cookeville area. It’s worth the stop for sure. The owner even came out to check on us and to make sure everything was to our liking. A++

The best BBQ we’ve found in TN! Moist, smoky pork & brisket (the dark ends of the brisket is amazing)! Loaded, baked potato salad was great too. Definitely recommend you stop by & check them out!

We ordered the brisket and pulled pork meals and they were delicious!! The sides were very good also, especially the baked beans! Potato salad and coleslaw also had great flavor! Portion sizes were generous. We ordered from the food truck, so I can’t wait to order from the expanded menu in Cookeville!! Will definitely order the ribs!!
