Drove down from west Cobb today. I recently watched a video by Cooking with Brenda Gantt who taught everyone how to store boiled peanuts in the freezer for eating all winter. Wow! I’m sold. I did my research to find the best peanuts in Georgia then set off on my journey. I went with the intention of buying a half bushel but Timmy made me an offer on a bushel that I couldn’t refuse. I tried a green peanut for the first time. The date on the bag was 8/13. They were dug and bagged yesterday? Wow! Can’t get any fresher than that. I didn’t buy any boiled ones but can’t beat the price for a nice sweet bag of green nuts. I have enough peanuts for my holiday candy, some honey roasted, my boiled and enough to keep us in peanut butter for the year. Thank you, Timmy and Hardy Farms.
