I was skeptical to go based on some of the reviews, but at the end of the day, I thought I am my own person and will come to my own conclusion! Besides, an overall 4.0 ain’t horrible. So this Friday around 730ish, I went, sat at the and enjoyed it!! Keiara (sorry if I misspelled) was my bartender. She was awesome in more ways than one: friendly, can make a good drink, and constantly checked to make sure I was good.

I’m from Chicago & have been to Harold’s Ice bar in Edgewood a couple times and they didn’t miss! So I was hoping my visit to their new location in Duluth would be the same. I will say there was ample parking, the atmosphere was nice, & the music was great. It first started when I called to place my order over the phone & was asked did I mind paying for my order over the phone. I had cash so I drove to the location. I attempted to find a place at the bar to order but it was slightly crowded, so walked around & saw there was another bar hidden in the back it was crowded as well. So I finally saw a waitress & asked where could I place a takeout order. She told me she’d grab the person taking orders for takeout. Which they had to go find her. Before I got there I had looked at the menu online a 6 piece wing dinner with fries was $13.99. When I placed my order at Harold’s physical location it was over $21 for one 6 wing dinner with fries no drink. I was advised by the waitress taking my takeout order it was an up charge on the weekends. So I down graded to a 4 wing dinner which ended being $17. I waited almost 30 mins for a 4 wing dinner. When I finally received my order & got home to eat it. The fries were extremely salty & I requested the mild sauce on top of my wing & fries, they put it on the side. I couldn’t finish my food because it was so salty. If I have to have Harold’s because I’m missing home I’ll go to the Edgewood location or definitely I’ll catch a flight home. Even though the Duluth location is 10 mins from my home. It was a total waste of my money & my time.

I came for lunch cause I was wasting time. The drinks was good. The food was good. My waitress was super awesome. The icing on the cake was the simple fact that they sell gizzards. I been looking for gizzards for like almost 8 years in Ga and finally found a place that has em. I’ll definitely be back solo or with my peeps period

It’s my 1st time here, and the place is small, but it looks good. I ordered catfish and shrimp. Oh my! It was hot and great. I was here during lunch hour. The bartender hooked me up on my drink. It was the bomb. When I am on this side of town, I will be back.

Sunday brunch did not disappoint . Salmon Croquettes w/remoulade, pimento cheese grits, cheddar cheese eggs, pineapple mimosa, and a Hennessy Mojitos!!!! Leona made phenomenal drinks!! Definitely worth a repeat!

So glad this location is up here! We’ve been ordering togo from here for a while, but today came in to eat. It’s seat yourself, and they had plenty of booths right in front of the tv. Our server was awesome and came right on time. Desiree. She was super sweet and helpful. We can’t wait to come back.

Nice chill spot, older crowd but they know how to have fun . You seat yourself, waited about 5-7 min for a waiter to come over which wasn’t bad for a Saturday night. Food was amazing, waited about 25 min for it to come out. I ordered the small catfish dinner and it was amazing, it wasn’t cooked too hard and didn’t taste like the grease old 10/10 would recommended. My boyfriend had the large gizzards with sweet potato tots and said those were good! The portion size was great, more than I expected. Hookah is $40 at night and I believe $30 during the day. They have $5 drink options options more. Live DJ with a good selection. Evelyn was my server and she was awesome will definitely be back where I’m dining in or ordering take out.

I came here from out of town and the manager, Janet was AMAZING! She and our server greeted us and made sure that we had everything we needed. The food was DELICIOUS! The drinks were FANTASTIC! The atmosphere was like no other! I will make sure I visit every single time I am in town!

I’m so glad I finally tried Harold’s. My hubby and I dined in this past week on MLK day. It had just opened for the day and we were the only people in the building. We got first class service. I had a strawberry margarita and a fish-wish sandwich with the sweet potato tater tots. I especially loved that the sweet potato tater tots came with a caramel dipping sauce. Plus, the catfish on my sandwich was fried to perfection and it came with lettuce, tomato, and cheese on a very buttery and well toasted bun. I devoured my entire plate! My mouth is craving more right now as I type this review. I can’t wait to go back!
