This harold’s chicken customer service is horrible!!! The lady working the front register is completely nasty! Rude! And she’s completely out of order. Being African-American you’d expect some courtesy behavior. I’m a United States Marine and was treated like straight garbage!! The food was good/ cooks attitude was humble but the young lady is an evil person. She seems to be in her late 50’s/ early 60’s to old to be acting With such a ghetto nasty attitude. Black-owned or not no customer should fill belittled! Coming from Chicago And looking for good chicken to eat in the suburbs instead of cooking sometimes nothing wrong with that. The cook needs to get rid of the foolish woman before she ruins the business and hire someone with a pleasant attitude who can deal with the public. Especially when the customer/ consumer is paying with there hard earned money.

Honestly was kinda worried about coming when I saw the low reviews,but I had a very good experience! The man at the counter was friendly got us our food in like 15 mins, and the Catfish was so good! Crispy zesty, and the chicken was solid just wish I choose tenders to get a little more meat than the wing, but that’s on me.

My Dad called in an order, and when we went to pick it up. He asked if we could get drinks with our food. I wanted a lemonade so he ask the lady if they have any lemonade and she said I only have what’s in the cooler, she doesn’t even check the cooler to see what they had and gives my dad the worst attitude. The customer service has never been great how do they still serve people?

Supported them many times for them to get rude and disrespectful about me asking would my food be cooked freshly and my 1st two times i ordered it wasn’t. This place actually could have some potential if the owners works on customer services, some consistency & learning how to talk to PAYING customers properly!!! I suggest go elsewhere to get food & spend your money where it’s appreciated. Places like this make it hard to really support your black small businesses.

Disturb, discusted and sad that these place still in business with the same management. I went to Harold’s on E New York st in Aurora to place an order . The place loooked like it was closed , haven’t been there in long time so I noticed they frosted windows so you can’t see what’s going on in there , they took the chairs out so really there is no waiting area . I placed my order , paid for and all I got was ” will let you know when food is ready “. Was not giving an estimate time , or if running behind let us know it will take longer and let us decide if we wanted to wait or not . Anyways after 20 min I send mg husband inside to ask for an update in our order and see if we want to run some errands while waiting but the guy got so mad and he cancel our order and told us we need to wait for our refund . He started to close the blinds . The place is scary and very uncomfortable , people who work there always so angry so we waited outside for the refund because you don’t really know what’s going on behind those frosted windows. He also advice us not to step in his facility anymore and they don’t condone this kinda business . I won’t be going there for once I feel it’s not safe , they don’t have any kinda of respect for their customers . The place should really not be open in the first place because to be honest it didn’t feel they were cooking anything in there . We worked hard for our money, to be offers a refund right away by the manager amd have you wait for it’s another thing . If you didn’t want our order or you got overwhelmed communicate to your customer instead of shutting the blinds on them . Anyways I see I am not the first customer that this is happening but it’s sad to see now in days business like that still survive with this kinda of service plus the food has gone worst for the last years anyways .

This has to be the worst blacked owned business I’ve ever encountered. The customer service is HORRIBLE. I called and asked for a combo and the guy went back and forth about how many pieces I want….what’s the point of asking for a combo, if I have to tell you… it’s whatever you’ll compile and sell it for. Then I come in to pick up the order and asked for a drink with my order and she’s on the phone so she didn’t charge me. I told her I asked, she says well I didn’t hear you. I say okay can I order a drink, she now tells me I can’t use my card although she was not paying attention. Then she says I’m not giving you a free pop. Which I never insinuated. This is the first and last time I will ever patronize this business with no class and poor customer service.

Avoid avoid avoid, this place is the worst place on earth. Staff is rude, unprofessional and should be closed down. Do not for any reason give this establishment your hard earned money that you work for. I wish I could give a negative 5 to this place. Do not support this location. The owner should be ashamed of himself or herself hiring the ppl that work there, and if either the man or woman that’s always there is the owner that’s even more reason to not go because they tolerate and allow this awful customer service to continue. 0 stars . Customer service is TRASH!!! The lady that took my order was rude as hell. The mild sauce was clumpy the chicken wasn’t fried hard like I asked… the fries omg were hard they weren’t fresh at all ,TERRIBLE!!! I would never eat from here again I rather go to the Harold’s that’s in the city. Way better!!! If you’re thinking of stopping here. DON’T!!!! Go to the city to get your Harold’s
