Fabulous local watering hole! Interesting quirky decor with a homey comfortable vibe. We sat at the bar and enjoyed seafood platters and chatted with Terri & Phil and all the other folk who bellied up to the bar. Such a friendly community! And the bartender was the sweetest gal ever. Sorry we missed steak night as we were passing through on Friday not Saturday when they have their weekly steak dinner, it is reported to be outstanding – by Southern Living magazine! Definitely will go out of our way to pass this way again and enjoy this spot!

Well what can I say!!! The wife and I went there on a recommendation of Mark(local we met) and it did not disappoint! We showed up at 430 and sat at the bar, had a few beers chatted with the locals(dinner was at 530)The place is an old gas station/garage converted into a bar/restaurant. Decorations are weird but so cool! Gotta see to understand! The people are so friendly! Around 5pm the mad rush happened! At least 50 patrons came in! Even a former mayor and the current mayor of a nearby town! People locally and from nearby towns come here to eat. Felt like I was at home with family waiting for dinner! Dinner was potluck(fried catfish, sausages, green beans, tomatoes, grits, Cole slaw, sautéed peppers & onions, German chocolate cake and bread pudding! The food was amazing! The whole experience was amazing! Just down to earth southern people! Going back tomorrow for wing night and a live band! A must!

Stop at a local bar & the bartender recommended Harold’s Country Club to us. We ordered our steak prior to our visit and it was fantastic. Our waitress was very accommodating. Saved our seats and checked on us often. Great band played as well. Will definitely be visiting again. Thank you

Loved this place. We went here when we were visiting my wife’s uncle. He took us to Harold’s Country Club one night and we really enjoyed the atmosphere. The food was good , the beer was cold and I really had an awesome time just hanging out. The local crowd was very nice and they were very hospitable. If your in the area I highly recommend this place.

Really good experience, old gas station converted to bar and restaurant. Good live music. Food was good but little pricey

Not a country club. It’s actually an old country store gas station turned bar. Small, but does have an open floor for dancing. Has a steak night and serves mixed drinks as well. The Downside is that it’s a very small place in the woods. But for some, that’s the upside.

This is a really funky off the beaten path converted garage station that has been created into a really fun restaurant experience. The service and food was great. The atmosphere is genuine low country with a kind of down home twist. Always enjoy our time at Harold’s Country Club. Lots of fun and well worth the drive!
