If you haven’t been to Harold’s… I suggest you go if you like hamburgers. First time for me and won’t be my last. Their hamburgers have a unique flavor to them that I love. I’ll be back, maybe for breakfast next time

This is my favorite hamburger joint in Kansas City. Great service and terrific burgers made to order. Parking is up to the task. The garlic cheese bombs are out of sight! The only downside is that it’s not a great neighborhood. Give Harold’s a try!

I don’t understand the glowing reviews. The lady that takes the cash is very rude. No greeting, very terse, and seemed quite put off at the fact that it was my first time there and had questions. I did not feel singled out because she treated everyone the same as they came and went. The people preparing the food had zero sanitation protection. Hair dangling, sweat dripping, no gloves. The guy running the griddle scratched his armpit and then used the same bare hand to reach over and grab cheese to put on the burgers. There was another lady bagging food and calling orders. She also touched herself, the trash, food, etc. with no gloves. I found one of her grey hairs in my fries. I’m not a confrontational person so I took my food and left. I did not eat it though. How could I? How could anyone? I’m not a germaphobe by any means but there has to be a line somewhere. The establishment itself was unclean. Flies buzzing because the back door was open, raw food left out on surfaces rather than in a cooler, could not tell if anything had ever been even wiped down. Eat at your own risk.
