I had a Santa Fe Special burger with chili, onion rings and big Jalapeño pepper slices, cheese, tomato and lettuce. It was HUGE. I had to plan where and how to take a bite. Oh boy! It was one of the very best burgers I have ever eaten. No kidding. It was absolutely delicious. Staff was friendly and attentive. Food was ready quickly. Atmosphere was a typical bar and grill and nothing really outstanding. Area of downtown Kinston seemed a bit run down and bordered on sketchy even in the daytime. I would be looking over my shoulder outside the place after dark. Perhaps that’s just how Kinston is nowadays. I was just passing through and am not familiar with the area. But if you want an excellent burger while in Kinston — this is definitely the place. Overall, recommended dining.

We read a review on Google reviews and thought we’d give it a try. The outside and location gave me some doubts having lived in Kinston years ago. Then we stepped into a culinary TARDIS that transported us to the cool little spot with unique and great food. The oyster burger was a “fresh” oyster burger not some long ago processed oyster. Even a simple thing like french fries was uniquely served with great taste. Their Cuban sandwich was also a great blend of tastes to enjoy. Shared a homemade key lime pie the was terrific and would have made Ms Edwards take a walk of shame.

This is a cozy restaurant and bar with outdoor seating. Good service. The waitress checked on my table frequently and the food came out quickly after placing the order. I didn’t like the fries – I could taste the cooking oil – however others at my table seemed to like it. The rest of the entree tasted ok.

I loved getting to visit Harp’s and Dill’s this past weekend. The ahi bruschetta was amazing- the best I’ve ever had and the fish tacos and fancy fries were delicious! The restaurant is full of character with pictures of the owners’ travels- such a gem in Kinston and eastern NC. Totally recommend!

The hiring process is very unprofessional. I had a phone interview, and a face to face interview which I thought went great, considering they said they liked me and they were going to put me on the schedule for the next week. Then a week and a half later after I texted the owner for the 2nd time, he said they chose to go with someone else. I was definitely blindsided and disappointed as I am trying to provide for my 3 toddlers, which I told the owner, and I was excited to work for their business. I emailed them after I saw that they were looking for more servers/bartenders a month later, and they completely ignored my email and text. Unfortunate for me and them, because I would’ve been a great employee!!

Tried for the first time a couple of weeks ago with a friend. Staff is very friendly and we were lucky to get there early so didn’t have a wait..filled up quickly though. Both of us enjoyed what we ordered food wise and drinks (really like the Annie Oakley). Would recommend that if your in the area that you should check this place out. Will definitely be going back to try other items on their menu.
