Great food and drinks. The chef was trained at the prestigious Johnson & Wells with 20 years in the business. The food is always consistent and you can tell it’s prepared by a trained chef. The maple bacon wrapped meatloaf is out of this world and so are the collard greens. SUPER CLEAN and very nice waitstaff.

Always a great meal at Harper. The fried chicken is excellent! The burgers are also really great. Pork chop is stellar. Fair prices on beer and drinks. Nice atmosphere. I always recommend it when people come to Tryon.

What a welcomed surprise. We had no idea what to expect. This place has a great atmosphere as a redone 1891 cellar of the building above. The food was perfect. I had meatloaf with mashed potatoes and collard greens. Fantastic! My wife had the patty melt. Again, awesome! The service was first class by Shelly. We’re going back for brunch on Sunday. Great local beer selection as well.

Is fantastic little spot in Tryon North Carolina! Excellent service and food the meat loaf is made with Maple bacon and it is absolutely divine the white cheddar Mac and cheese ooey gooey and melts in your mouth.

Excellent southern food with a special flair. I had fantastic fried chicken breast, collard greens and boursin mashed potatoes. Everything was prepared perfectly, seasoned well and served graciously. The building is old and quaint but clean. 5 star all the way and the prices were reasonable.

We were seated in a very timely manner. Everyone was friendly and welcoming. We ordered the salmon and fish n chips. Our food was so well prepared and absolutely delicious. Salmon and fish perfect. Cole slaw was so creamy and tasteful. We love this little town and the food and atmosphere!!

What a neat little restaurant! I took the family after church and had brunch. The atmosphere is very pleasant and the staff made you feel right at home. I had the Western omelet with biscuits and gravy and my wife had the shrimp and grits. The food was simple fantastic. We felt like we were sitting in downtown Charleston. Harper’s is a must if your close to Tryon and want a taste of Charleston.
