I ordered the chopped beef sandwich, lean. It was still too fatty. The brisket flavor was very good. Potato salad and coleslaw were good…not great. Staff was super friendly and the value is fair. You can choose between mild or hot bbq sauce.

This is by far the best Bar-B-que I have eaten around the Dallas area. Talk about generous portions, you get them here. My chopped beef sandwich had enough meet on it fo 2 sandwiches! Really like the way you can order meet to your liking, I like it on the lean side. Highly recommend this place, can’t wait to go back.

Barbeque its finest, don’t let the tiny store footprint discourage you. I had the ribs and sliced brisket, coleslaw, and green beans. The meat was tender, juicy and flavorful! Coleslaw is a bit rough, very course IMO. Generous portions for the price, def worth a drive to Cedar Hill, right off the highway.

This place is fantastic. We picked this at random driving through Texas and boy did get lucky. A 4.7 review on Google isn’t high enough for how good the meat is here. I got the Pulled Pork and Brisket on a 2 meat platter and 2 sides. The pork melted in your mouth, and the brisket was smoky and delicious. Next time I’m in this part of Texas, I’ll FOR SURE be back.

Definitely a hidden gem in Cedar Hill. Very moist brisket with great bark. Average sausage, but not in a disappointing way. Nice tangy sauce available in hot variety. Sides are not an afterthought. Potato salad and cole slaw were delicious. I rarely leave reviews, that should tell you something.

In the small town of Waxahachie, a short drive south of Dallas, is a great barbecue joint that is well worth the detour off I-35E to enjoy – called Harris Bar-B-Que. Kelvin Harris has been producing his brand of Texas ‘cue for a number of years now. And I’ll tell ya, he’s got it down pat, producing this flavorful stuff all on his reverse-flow pit out behind the store. The brisket was moist and smoky, with a super dark bark (gotta love that!). The sausage was very nice. And the pork ribs were really good. I tried the potato salad and coleslaw, and both were very tasty. And the perfectly-toasted Texas Toast was a great addition.

I’ve tried a lot of BBQ and very few stand out the way that Harris does. The sliced brisket literally fell apart as I picked it up with my fork. And the sauces, mild and hot were both absolutely fantastic. The sides were delicious and this place has been instantly short-listed to my favorites.

First time to try new location in cedar hill. Friendly knowledgeable staff. The usuall bbq choices. Limited side choices. Drink machine not hooked up yet. Food came out fast. Sliced beef was amazing. Worth the try. I will come back.

I am very particular about my brisket and sausage and these were AMAZING! I dont particularly like jalapeno sausage, but i could not stop eating theirs. Brisket was so tender it was falling apart. Their sauce is delicious too. Not too much pepper, not too spicy. Highly recommend this place and will definitely be returning.
