There are beautiful, panoramic views of the harbor when dining on the second floor here. I was so pleased to find a Gluten-free crab cake! The overall experience was pleasant with a really clean and chic atmosphere inside. We had a lot of fun watching the boats and water taxis in the harbor. Lots of seating as well as a deck. We could have done without the lady (who was not a server) coming up to our table during the meal but some people like random, well-meaning conversation. Our food was great and everything was just as we ordered it.

We sat at the bar where I immediately noticed the hanging glassware was dusty. That was unimpressive. The bartender who I don’t want to name seemed miserable. Maybe she was having a bad day. The food was not that great but we only shared two appetizers so I can’t say anything about the rest of the menu. We didn’t stay long. Didn’t see the need.

Home cooking at its best!! My first time here…for the Thanksgiving buffet, and it was outstanding. Nothing crazy fancy or “try-hard”, just their family recipe everything! The selections were hot and freshly refilled. The staff is super friendly and on top of it. Everyone on the team in the different rooms asked if I needed anything as I made my way around. This is is huge plus in my book: I can’t say either way if HHL is dog-friendly all the time, but there was a couple visiting from out of town and had sat outside with their very well-behaved dogs. The sun disappeared and it got cold HHL accommodated them at a table just inside the bar door after the doggo owners and staff asked everyone if we were ok with it. Everyone said yes without hesitation…good vibes and good food all around.

The crab soup was more like tomato soup. The Filet Oscar was uneatable. Ordered the steak medium. It was served rare. The Bearnaise Sauce had a horrible aftertaste. Mashed Potatoes were instant. The check was $178 for 2 people. Don’t mind paying the money if the food was worth it. This was not. The service was questionable. Waited awhile for service. The server apologized for showing up late to work. The view from our table was the only thing I can positively comment on. I won’t go back.
