Pulling up in the parking lot made me wonder about this place. The awnings are filthy with bird droppings and the building looks ready to fall down with downspouts missing. We paid $34 for two sandwiches, two drinks and a order of fries. The dining room tables are bare of napkins and salt and pepper. Have to go back and ask for them because they don’t give them to you. For some reason, the surly couple who run the place feel like they’re doing you a favor to take your order. Food is just okay, service is terrible and the place is dirty. Eat somewhere else. Maybe they were great once, not anymore.

I’m new to North Shore roast beef culture and Harrison’s is a great introduction. I got a large roast beef with cheese, mayo, and horseradish and it was awesome. The roast beef was perfect. I just wish that I lived closer!

This place has been a favorite and a neighborhood staple for decades. Roast beef is tender, flavorful and cooked to perfection and the fries oh my goodness! Not sure what to order? I highly recommend a junior roast beef with cheese, sauce and mayo with fries well done and strawberry shake for a drink. Yum!

I usually love this place but I don’t know if it’s under new ownership or management but their service has gone way down. Between things not working to closing early things ave definitely changed for the worse. Maybe they’re in a tough patch now and things will improve for them soon.
