Best Jamaican food I’ve ever had! Absolutley delicious. We tried 4 different plates and everything was perfection. The customer service is great too and this isn’t just some little hole in the wall, what a cute little gem!!! So worth the drive for some yummy authentic Caribbean cuisine!

Looking forward to trying the whole menu. Great food and great service. Oxtail w/rice and extra gravy are a must got to have plantains. The jerk chicken and beef stew looks so delicious.

Let’s start off a customer service was not the best didn’t even feel like I was welcome to be there. The race was good, but the oxtail was missing some type of spice and I don’t like spicy stuff that much, but it was definitely not the best time had not going back anytime soon. If the customer service was better, I probably would go back and try other things. Not recommended in my book.

I’ve been craving Caribbean food for a while now but didn’t want it from my usual places so I googled Caribbean food near me. Not only are they pleasant at Hartley Jamaican Restaurant, the food was delicious. They give you enough food to feed 2 people. The rice with or without gravy was delicious as well, I was expecting it to be dry because the pan looked low but nope. I was given enough of gravy on my rice just how I like it and the oxtail meat was fallen off the bone, melting in your mouth…I will definitely be going back

I’m originally from Trinidad and I’m very skeptical about food being brought outside the home due to some questionable experiences in the past. Last Friday the 23rd was my first time at this restaurant at my wifes insistence. I ordered 2 dinners and a small soup just to sample…but I have to say despite my critical nature I AM very surprised…the flavors were off the chart…everything cooked PERFECTLY. This being the first time that I’ve visited this restaurant I was surprised at how phenomenal the food was. From the oxtail to the Jamaican wings through the Jamaican beef patties in the breaded fish balls… I could have enjoyed myself any more than I did.

Curry goat good, curry chicken good, steak good, oxtails need to be more tender. Rice was my least fav. The server didnt break the rice so my peas n rice was lumpy. I didn’t like that very much.
