As someone coming from a place with a large Korean community, the food here was okay. Very nice family-run business and hard working staff, but you can tell they adapt the dishes to pack less of a punch. I ordered the Spicy Soft Tofu Stew and it was good, but didn’t have a lot of flavoring in the broth and a lot more tofu and egg than normal. My friend got one of the Bento Boxes and said it was not bad. If you are looking to try decent Korean food then this is a nice place, but if you have been to other places before then you might be a little disappointed.

Wonderful service, with very friendly and helpful owners/staff. The food is affordable and great. I’ve loved everything I’ve ordered there so far. The side dishes are tasty and plentiful! There menu has a few more unique items than some of the other Korean restaurants. Haru is quickly becoming one of my favorite Korean restaurants in the Huntsville/Madison area!

The food was so flavorful, authentic and just overall delicious. The servers are super friendly and treat you like family! The food portions are so big and they give you so much stuff! It’s amazing! The prices are also pretty reasonable.

Probably the best in town! Love the spicy pork and bulgogi. Ask for extra spicy if you can stand the heat .

Simply delicious and staff is always super friendly. The lunch box is not just gorgeous but also fresh and tasty, and they even gave us additional side dishes such that I felt that we had a taste of everything. We’ve been going for a while and noticed this last time that they are slowly upgrading aesthetics such as the menu, decorative lighting, adding wall art, etc.

We have been wanting to come here for quite some time. Awesome food with awesome service. The flavors were all there, and it brought some fond memories of my childhood. Never Imagined having delicious Korean food in the South.

The Bibimbap was excellent. I also had the kimchi pancake, and that was also good. I’m definitely planning to go back.

Haru is a tiny restaurant that, if I remember correctly, is run by a mother and her son. A young man provided all the table service. He was friendly and prompt.
