When we arrived, we were seated quickly. Staff was great. I ordered the creole carbonara. It took literally and AT LEAST an hour to receive the food. In the restaurant’s defense,it was a tuesday they were packed, I understand. However, my experience is my experience. The food was very good! However, my water was empty a lot. Again, in defense of the waitress who was very nice, it was packed in the restaurant for a Tuesday.

Until tonight I thought there was a food desert between Birmingham and either DFW or Houston. I’ve overnighted in Meridian, MS dozens of times and never went into town. Big mistake. Harvest Grill was excellent. Grilled oysters (raw available too) were tasty (seasonal). I had the almond and corn flour crusted trout (tasty and delicate) with cheesy grits (I usually hate grits but these were awesome) and the most wonderfully prepared fresh green beans. Wife has the portobello mushroom with gnocchi. Awesome. Solid bar, decent wine selection and a cocktail list they are proud of. The deserts can feed 4. This is the best meal I’ve ever had in the space between Atlanta and DFW/Atlanta. We will be back, because our trips through Meridian will only increase. Don’t miss this if you are in the area. Previous reviews boasted of the crab cakes but they aren’t on the menu and may no longer be. Not a big deal – try the fish!

Plenty of options to choose from. Three at our table had the Creole Carbonara and all had the same opinion. Too much pasta, not enough protein/meats. Shrimp was overcooked and it lacked seasoning and real flavor.

Wow! That’s all I can say! Traveling through and found this gem! We sat at the bar for a quick dinner and were lucky enough to be seated in Londa’s corner. 🙂 Londa made the evening!!!! She was fun and joyful and elevated the whole experience. The food was fantastic as well. Highly recommend the shrimp lettuce wraps, sesame tuna and bread pudding dessert (holy cow!). Loved this spot and hope to make it back to meridian to enjoy this again!

The ambiance, food, and service were all on the same level – excellent. Camille was knowledgeable, personable, and professional. It is always a blessing to have a server with culinary experience and creative talent. As a restaurant owner I’m always looking for talented, passionate people that are excited about their craft and their brand. The magic happens when you place them in an excellent food environment. I will admit a bias for historic buildings and foodie locations within them. A must do for the food aware in or passing through Meridian.
