Harvest Thyme Kitchen is a breakfast, lunch, brunch restaurant. Nearly everything is made from scratch. There is a daily special available as well as a variety of from scratch bakery items, including our delicious special recipe cinnamon rolls. All eggs are fresh and not from a carton of liquid eggs. Our biscuits are made in house and we offer four different gravies to go with our biscuits; our menu includes the option of three biscuits with a flight of three of our gravies. One of our more popular menu items is our lemon pound cake French toast, made from our from scratch lemon pound cake, topped with blueberries and fresh whipped cream. Grandma G’s Roast dip sandwich is a yummy tender pot roast sandwich with homemade au jus.

Had a lovely lunch here yesterday. We arrived right at 12:30 on a Thursday and there was no wait. We were greeted by a sweet woman who explained the menu and process to us. The decor is fresh, clean and homey. The menu is full of made from scratch offerings and the food was fantastic. If you are in downtown Melbourne definitely give Harvest Thyme a try.

Such a cute casual place for brunch! You order at the counter inside and they bring your food to you. I decided on the biscuits and gravy sampler trio and it DID NOT DISAPPOINT! The menu was limited. The French Toast was a lemon pound cake with blueberries and a raspberry syrup. I asked for sour dough bread, but it came out with the lemon. They have a small staff, so I just ate what I could.
