My friends and I attended the Great Gatsby Dinner on Tuesday, Oct. 30th dressed up and participated. We had reservations for 6:30, and got seated approximately around 6:45. The service was extremely slow and when we did finally get our bread baskets, the bread was burnt on the bottom. The bread did not arrive at the table until about 7:15. Our entrees arrived approximately 30 minutes later. My spinach salad was good, but there was definitely room for improvement. We waited for a long time to finally get our checks, however it took 4 tries to get each persons ticket correct. I was charged for what other people had ordered which was finally corrected the 4th time it was handed to me. Then to see a 20% gratuity was added to my check, and I feel she did not deserve it. I usually tip well to the servers that earn it. For being a special event, I was extremely disappointed and angry that I wasted $40.00 on 2 glasses of wine and a spinach salad.

I’m not really sure what the restaraunt was going for thematically. They had tablecloths and wine glasses as if it were an upscale place, and prices to match. But the waitstaff was entirely absent.

A huge disappointment. Pork chops came out raw, waitress never came back to check. We ended up eating at McDonalds after we left. When I emailed the mgr, he said he would send a gift card, never saw it, and he would never respond again. Mgmt issues.
