Harvey’s has gone downhill quite fast, they no longer cook burgers on the spot, they are pre-cooked and preheated, and taste like a boot. The chicken sandwiches USED to be good but they are no longer high quality. The tots are soggy. No longer worth eating here. Go elsewhere, like south of campus at J-Dawgs or South End Market. Its worth the small walk. Don’t spend your money here.

Visited for breakfast, arrived around 8:30a. It’s located on the SW end of the new engineering builing. Got ‘Hawaiian French Toast’ which is four half-slices plus a yummy, coconut syrup. They get some things available right away in the morning, but ask if you don’t see something on the regular menu. I chatted with the people a little, and they were able to answer my random questions with a smile. Welcome to Harvey’s Cafe!

A great addition to the food available on campus. Is a grab-and-go type cafe, with different menu options depending on the day of the week. This fits right in with the needs of the engineers on campus. I’m not aware of a current schedule for what will be available and when, but I imagine something like that is coming.

This is the best chicken sandwich there ever was. Fresh avocado , bacon , and perfectly seasoned to perfection. I cannot resist anymore. Instead of going home to make lunch I buy two sandwiches with some nice tots

The food they make tastes wonderful, but they need more low cost options for students (even their tater tots are expensive!). Also, they are often closed during the hours they say they are open.

Kind of wish there was a suggestion box so this wasn’t so public but here we go. The food is great! Especially at breakfast time! I can understand how it seems overpriced but this isn’t a fast food joint though it is convenient. At least usually. The ONLY issue is they’re scheduled to open at 8 am but have too often opened closer to 9. I can understand they need to work out some kinks and we all should be understanding. Harvey’s, you’re great, truly. But if you can’t open at 8, own it and change it to 9. Other than that, do yo thang!!

I’ve eagerly awaited this to open as it will be nice to have a quick place to grab lunch close to where I spend a lot of my time. So far so good! I went this morning and bought a breakfast panini for 2.99. It had egg, cheese, bacon and creme cheese. It was ok. The eggs weren’t the best but other than that it was pretty good. I also stopped by for lunch and bought a California Chicken Sandwich for 4.50 It was pretty good although there were only 2 small slices of avocado and they kinda ended up just to one side of the sandwich.

Conveniently located on the south east side of campus. The California Chicken Sandwich is tasty and filling. The tots are crunchy which I like. If you like regular fry sauce, just grab packets of mayo and catsup and mix. Coke freestyle machine and bottled beverage selection is great. I’ll definitely try the gelato next visit! I’d suggest a “Start Here” sign near the grab & go or beverage cooler so it’s clear where to start 🙂

I’ve eaten here a bunch. Food is very good, especially the breakfast bagel. They often have delicious assorted condiments to throw on your burger/panini. They seem to be inexplicably shortening their business hours. I spoke to an employee last week who said they were starting to close at 6pm instead of 8. Today I went at 5:45pm and it looked like they had been closed for a long time. Accurate closing hours would be nice.

Their breakfast panini is the best thing on the menu, period. It is $3 and composed of a bagel with cream cheese, egg, bacon, and cheddar cheese, pressed in a panini press until the cheese is melted. The reason I am leaving 1 star is that when they run out of cream cheese, they serve them anyway. There is no sign, no warning, nothing. This has happened to me twice. The second time I went back and complained, was told they were out and that they were sorry, but no offer of a refund or anything. Please do not serve something without all of the normal ingredients. Either do not sell it or put up a sign. It does not matter how good something is if it is inconsistent. If this is fixed, I will change my review to 5 stars.
