I came in with a group of 14 for a work conference. Several other smaller groups behind us. The staff was immediately overwhelmed and unsure what to do with all of us. After a short 10 minute wait we were seated. Our waitress went from table to table getting us drinks then bringing them out before moving to the next table. We we’re in the restaurant for over an hour and 20 minutes before we all ordered and had food. I ordered the grilled chicken salad with pickles and homemade ranch dressing. The dressing was delicious and the pickles were crisp. Everything was great until I tried to take my salad with me and found the greenish grey, hairy fungus at the bottom of my bowl. I left the bowl and salad. I didn’t have time to complain and wait for a response and our bill was already paid. I wouldn’t recommend this location to anyone.

I accidentally got on the outbound #18 bus from Lancaster and instead of going home I found myself heading to Mount Joy, but I didn’t panick because I had been eyeing up a BBQ joint on the quaint Main Street for months. Fate had brought me here.

They catered a company event and were awesome! I have Celiac Disease and the staff were super helpful in answering my questions about what items contained gluten. Since there was high cross contamination with the buns, etc. in the regular food line, they got me a plate of fresh BBQ straight from the truck with fresh tongs and everything. On top of that, the food was amazing and cooked perfectly. I’ll have to make my way into the actual restaurant soon!

I come here a lot and each time I am impressed. The service, the food, the atmosphere, I am never disappointed! My go to meal is the Cajun sausage sandwich with sauce and onions and I can guarantee that each and every time I go it will deliver. I also get a side of Cole slaw because their Cole slaw is to die for!

Had an enjoyable meal here, with delicious food! The service was really quick. I had made reservations as we had a group of nine, and we were taken right in, and in short order we had our meals. The brisket was slightly thicker than I have had at other BBQ places, but it was good. Also the sauces were tasty, and the BBQ baked beans, those definitely are worth getting.

We have been to Harvey’s 3 times over the last year. I didn’t review it the first time as it was not a good experience. But everyone can have a bad day. I didn’t review it the second time because even thought it was excellent the first time was that bad. So last night we had a gift card and we did take out. We were going to eat in but the wait was 35-45 min so we did take out. The staff was friendly helpful and polite. We asked if they had a bar we could wait at and they apologetically said no. The food came quickly. It was hot and there was a good portion. Not so much where the goal is quantity over quality but there was plenty for the price you paid. My wife had a burger and even for take out it was cooked perfectly medium. I tried the sampler and there was not one stand-out star, Everything great. I could nit-pick personal tastes but overall it was great food and I would hope to try dine in some time. I will have to dine out if they are BYOB because that would compliment t the food very well and parking is a little lacking. Over all, Great job to the whole team.

Holy cow!! This place is great!! Food is served on 8×12 metal tray. Pork nachos covers this tray and for most people is large enough to feed 2 people for dinner. I had the pulled pork and brisket dinner. Meats were excellent!! Light smokey flavor. Excellent enough that sauce is not needed. Both were moist and delicious.

We got lost! We we’re riding our motorcycles on the back roads and had to stop. During the conversation/dang it’s hot, we decided to eat. I looked on Google and this restaurant came highly recommended. The food was great. The greens were amazing. The peanut butter pie is a must try. The atmosphere was welcoming. The staff was friendly. I’m so glad we got lost.
