I’m giving this place a 5 stars simply cause there’s no other place that has Canh Chua as good as this. I tried to find the best Canh Chua in Houston and so far nothing has beat this place. It’s one of their most iconic dishes here and I’ve been eating at this place for more than 10 years.

Phenomenal food! Excellent service, relaxing atmosphere, and a HUGE menu. They’re bound to have some thing that appeals to you. Portions are also enormous; so it’s a really good value for the price too. My favorites are their coconut curry, simmered pork, and Thai Tea.

Ordered through Uber eats, the egg cake aka banh bot chien & flat stir fry noodles was amazing! Pretty authentic as far as flavor & not too oily like some places I’ve tried, will definitely start ordering from here more often

Service was good. Ambience was nice . We were the only people in the restaurant. Food was a hit and miss here. The black pepper beef was fantastic. The soup, chicken with vegetables was very good too. The Kung Pao chicken was under cooked, pinkisk inside. The texture was completely off. We even told them it was undercooked. They took it and apparently cooked it again and it was over cooked with thready texture. It was just bad. Don’t order the chicken here. We had a Groupon, no problems paying with it. Most probably not returning. We will go to Chinatown for better food.

Be aware of this Restaurant. Customer order to go tray for holidays but they give out the old food with smelly and weird taste. Customer complaint about that but they denied the issue. After some argue, the restaurant just want to refund half of the price and tell the customer that they can sell the food to another customer.

There’s a to go charge and we received like no utensils until asked. The soup fish wasn’t cook, but we had it packed like it was. I doubt they expected us to cook the fish like pho, cause that ain’t normal! Food was good, but seems a bit messy

The size portion doesn’t match the overprice price I’m paying for, on top of charging me .25¢ per styrofoam togo box without even informing me in the first place. I wouldn’t mind the additional charge had I been informed of it, but I just felt like I get cheated on paying $1 something for some styrofoam box that I’ll have to dispose once I finished my food.

Love the Vermicelli with char-grill pork, shrimps, and egg rolls! I put all the sauces in it and the flavors are amazing. Very fresh. The service is very friendly and accommodating. The price was good too. It is a casual spot to enjoy friends and/or family.
