Ordered takeout for the second time from this restaurant. The vegetable tempura bento box lunch special was $12.85, including taxes. It was delicious! I did not realize this place had tempura at such a great price! It came with soup, salad, 4 pieces of a California roll, and a side of rice.

Hasu is a quiet and nice Japanese-style eatery with delicious meals and beverages… do not overlook this gem. Pleasant service, excellent cuisine served quickly, and a list of imported beers and spirits. I dine-in but takeaway is also popular.

How this restaurant doesn’t have higher than a 4.3 rating is beyond me. I can’t think of a single bad thing to say about this place. The chef(s) do not cut any corners at all to ensure their dishes are prepared authentically. Everything is cooked perfectly and all the ingredients are very fresh every time we’ve come. Even a small side of noodles is fried perfectly to order (not sitting in a tub waiting for you.) The fried rice is served equally well.

10/10 for sure! their bento box was so cute and since i don’t eat meat, they switched the shumai with broccoli which i loooove. the crab rangoons? so hot so good. i forgot to take a picture of the miso soup, but it was very rich and good in taste. the service was also noteworthy and wait time wasn’t too crazy either.

This is my favorite place and I get the best chicken tempura sushi here so every time I visit Tallahassee I make sure to go get some sushi, but this time I am really really disappointed, first off I always ask for no wasabi and ginger, because I am allergic to wasabi and they still put it in there, the tempura wasn’t crispy like it usually is, very stale and lastly I always ask for extra spicy mayo boxes which they charge 50 cents which is fine, but when you are charging for something make sure you fill the box, not give 1/4 sauce in box. I am totally disappointed, I was eagerly waiting to eat this sushi and was not what I was expecting.

Their food is very good. The sushi is excellent. The owners are such nice people. They have a few tables for sit down service as well as take out. We recently moved here from Raleigh and tried a few places before we found Hasu and we are glad we did.

I have tried many times to like this place. Chicken soup:good. Lunch salad:good. Hibachi: terrible. The chicken used in hibachi is like reconstituted chicken nugget with some teriyaki sauce on it.this time I ordered the veggie hibachiand it had a hunk of beef in it. I wish I was able to post a picture of it. I don’t eat cow, so I am left with just the white rice. This was the last straw. Caveat emptor!

Family-owned, excellent quality, good atmosphere. They offer a dine-in option now after being take-out only during the pandemic. My partner and I made it a last-minute date night and seriously enjoyed it. Excellent quality of food and so many options. I absolutely love this place.

Service was meh at best. The katsu was not great. I could have had the same experience with some Tyson chicken nuggets and katsu sauce. The only redeeming factor was the sushi, and it wasn’t even great.
