It was a busy Friday late morning when we stopped by a neighborhood favorite for breakfast. The place was hopping but we were seated quickly by a friendly face. Our server was also running the bar but she was so good. Drinks came quickly and our orders arrived in no time at all. The pictures tell the story. Food was good and plentiful. How can you go wrong? Great service, fun atmosphere, and good food. We’ve been before and we will be back! Check out their amazing breakfast and lunch options.

The food here was awesome. I’ve had the hot pastrami and the smoked Turkey club. My husband’s loves the pastrami hash. Everything was first rate…delicious distinct flavor, highest quality ingredients…and crisp hash browns. The owner’s father, Paul, explains the menu with friendly conviviality. He is responsible for the excellent meats. He tried to wheedle us into buying one of the coffee cups; their eclectic collection sells for a flat $5.00 each, but, although I always need an excellent sandwich. I don’t need any more coffee cups. A lovable restaurant!

Highly suggest putting a name in online before arriving to cut down on your wait! Small parking lot across the street for patrons, if full, you’ll have to find a spot on the street. Seating on main floor and upstairs. Service was fast and friendly, happy to help with suggestions. Food arrived hot to the table. The skillet, omelet, and hash browns were cooked well (and weren’t saturated in grease). Toast options of white, wheat, or rye. Blueberry pancakes were fluffy with a hint of sweetness and made with whole blueberries. Wish we had saved room for dessert – table behind us ordered an ice cream sandwich and it looked fantastic and big enough to share! Would love if they had espresso drinks (cappuccino/latte/etc) but their regular drip coffee was good too.

This was our first time time at hatched. My wife and I tried this new brunch place. What a treat. They have brunch happy hour we took advantage getting a mimosa and bloody mary. There was quite a choice for breakfast. There is a breakfast special offering 2 eggs toast or English muffin and hash browns. I had a coffee. The food was great and believe me you will not go hungry. The server Ellen was professional and courteous. She was excited about the new lunch menu. We will be back if it is anything like this fantastic brunch. As a side note I told the son of the local hardware store on Hampton about how good hatch’d was. He told me that the owner of hatch’d worked closely with them when getting up and running. It is great to see local businesses utilizing other local businesses. This builds a strong business and community. Please support local businesses.

We had a great experience! We were helped as soon as we stepped in and constantly checked on. Our waitress Katie did a great job taking care of us & suggested the pancakes, which were delicious along with all of our food we ordered! I’d highly recommend trying this fun place out! Also, just aheads up, there is parking across the street too!
