Prime rib was extremely tough to the point of their steak knives wouldn’t cut the meat. French Onion Soup was was horrible and the Calamari was very over cooked and chewy.Also had Mushrooms caps with lobster and they were under cooked. Lobster was over cooked as well must be the theme of the restaurant. Service very disappointing waited for 45 minutes for a table and then nobody came to take our orders for another 35 minutes. Salads came out 1 at a time he said,he forgot. When trying to tell the waiter about the food he was very dismissive to the point of ignoring what the complaint was but instead offered dessert. We paid for the worst dinner you could have out and don’t know about the dessert but nothing let us to believe it would be good. Very Dissatisfied Will Not Return!!

Haub’s is certainly not the upscale restaurant it once was. We had not been there in a couple of years and no longer feel the need to return. Pork chops were not fresh, as if they had been under a heat lamp, coffee was cold, French fries were terrible and two plates of fries were not eaten, to go boxes were thrown on the table even before we were done eating, table was not cleared of dirty dishes until we could no longer hold anymore on the table, including the appetizers. Just so very disappointing from what used to be an upscale lovely dinner out.

We had dinner here tonight, and everything was great! The staff was incredibly attentive and kind. We had the fried green tomatoes, chicken kiev, and the crab stuffed shrimp, and everything tasted awesome. Cannot recommend highly enough! Haub House is a gem.

Absolutely one of the finest steak houses around. Not many places make their own bernaise or remoulade on site. I believe that the Haub House is a hidden gem and an excellent value relative to the quality of the steaks as well as the level of service provided.

Service has been absolutely horrible last 2 or 3 visits. Friends report similar experiences. Kitchen is extremely slow. One visit it took 1.25 hours before receiving salad !

How disappointing. This has been a go to place when we wanted a “date” night. When we called for reservations they told us we would probably have a wait. We made the assumption that they would be really busy. Unfortunately it meant they were extremely short on servers. Service was extremely slow and food was average, not what it use to be. Won’t be making the hour and a half drive again 02/18/23
