I love Havana Cafe. It’s one of the best restaurants in Ashe county. Their Cubans are really good and the black beans and white rice are delicious. The food is always on point, and after eating here for many years, I’ve never been disappointed. Their coffee is wonderful! If you’re looking for a great coffee shop, look no further. I recommend trying a cortadito. Staff is always friendly, even when they’re busy. Great place to eat.

I love Havana Cafe! I have to stop by every time I’m in West Jefferson to get a Cuban sandwich. They are delicious! The guy that runs it is super nice and just like everywhere else in West Jefferson the atmosphere is great!

First time here. LOTS of folks had told me how great it was! They were right!!! Best Cuban and Black beans and Rice I’ve ever had!!! Bring your patience because they are packed all day!!! Enjoyed sitting outside too! We’ll definitely be back!!!

I would say it’s the best Cuban I’ve had north of Miami, but not south of it. Service was on point, food was hot and I didn’t feel I wasted my money. I wish the flavors were more traditional and that they were more pronounced as a cuban. Everyone has their own recipe. I’d definitely comeback, best restaurant in Ashe county so far in my opinion.

I have never had a bad meal here. I get the same thing almost every time I come and it is always delicious. I highly recommend the Patacon with extra garlic cilantro sauce. The cuban sandwich is also a good choice. Tony, the owner, greets everyone with a smile.

Delicious, authentic Cuban food. The sauces are incredibly delicious. Try the green sauce. The tomitillo dip was amazing as well. Seating is sparse, but worth it.

Excellent flavor pulled chicken and fried plantain…with a spicy mango slaw, the best!! Beans and rice a perfect too. A little pricey but worth it for good food! Highly recommend.
