Very disappointed in the nuggets and the slaw today. Nuggets weren’t edible, they were very dark and disgustin stick to making sandwiches. I got a ten piece with coleslaw and the slaw taste old and dry. Everytime I come to orange location there’s a problem. I’ll stick to New haven and give them one more shot

We’ve previously visited Haven Hot’s original location in New Haven, and we’re already big fans, so we were super excited to visit their new location in Orange! This is a few minutes closer to home for us, and we love that this location has a parking lot and a couple of tables to sit at. The food was as good as ever! My boyfriend took down the double off menu sandwich for a second time, and he believes it was even hotter at this location than in New Haven. Though he may have shed some tears, he said the flavor of the sandwich was fantastic! Meanwhile, I stuck mild tenders, which was a perfect spice level for me. The chicken is always juicy, never dry, and the fried coating is perfect. I love their garlic dill pickles and all of Haven Hot’s speciality sauces, especially the Rob Sauce and Sweet Sauce. I tried their mac and cheese for the first time, which had just the right amount of black pepper for flavor. Get it topped with their house seasoning to really make it a game changer – I’m already addicted to their seasoned fries! Banana pudding is a great dessert to have on the menu to cool down with after a spicy meal. I’m sure it won’t be too long until we’re back for more!

Delicious! My daughter got country chicken and waffles and she loved it, said “this is chef’s kiss.” My husband and I got the chicken sandwiches and those were delicious as well! I got mild and my husband got heaven hot, both get 5 stars!

I thought I was a fan of hot foods until I had one of Hot Haven’s sandwiches at the “Haven – for the Hot Head” level of spiciness. I made a major mistake. The sandwich and fries were delicious but I suffered through the whole thing. I thought I was safe because there are 2 heat levels above Haven on their website.

I stopped by to pickup a paper menu and took some informational photos. We decided to order on the next night. Other than switching a medium heat chicken on a sandwich and a country chicken on a sandwich, the food was GREAT!!! I did call to let them know a mistake had happened and spoke to Olivia, who was the manager that night, and she was terrific!! Very concerned that this being our very first order and there being a mixup, she was genuinely upset about it. We agreed on a resolution that worked for both of us. All that being said, we will definitely be back and I definitely recommend that you check this restaurant out!!

Pretty good overall. Had the ‘mild’ chicken sandwich combo. The chicken was pretty good quality, probably a bit overpriced for the quantity offered. Will try medium hot next time for extra flavor. Service was friendly and the to-go bag had a nice design and all the needed utensils.

Service wasn’t the best but I’m honestly not bothered by the service my real anger is from getting a complete messed up order. I mean it’s honestly not hard to just double check orders to make sure it’s right. Won’t bother returning to the orange location. The New Haven hot chicken in downtown New Haven is the best location to get a complete right order with top service
