From the moment this delicious food touched my lips, I was transported onto a magical unicorn and we rode into a colorful culinary land full of happiness. I don’t know much about island comfort food but I know this stuff IS DA BOMB! I had the Crazy Chicken and Char Siu Pork, with the Mac salad and rice. Wow! I love that they pack it in to go containers so it’s convenient to take with you because I GUARANTEE that with the portions they give you, you will have left overs. Quality: 10/10. Price: 10/10. Portion size: 10/10. Friendliness of the staff: 10/10. Chances I’ll eat there again: 100 percent!

Maybe it was a bad day…but wow. This was awful. We went on a Friday about 5PM, 80% of the menu was unavailable due to “the grill not being on”? So we order the only three options (Kaluah pig, odobo and “crazy” chicken or whatever) with Mac and fried rice. Took forever. I ordered a wine (that was literally offered on the sign at the register) and was given the option to buy a drink ticket and go across the street? We ordered “in” but received take out cartons in an plastic bag. The pork was awful, both of them. Real bad. Like they were day old and sat in soy sauce the whole time. The chicken was basically jerky with breading. The rice was terrible, day old again at best. The Mac salad was the “best” part but the worst Hawaiian Mac salad I’ve ever had. I’m not picky or weird, this was just bad.

Ordered ahead, food was hot and ready to go when I got off work, tasted great, huge portions for great price. Not a lot of people were in the restaurant at 4:30 PM, which surprises me. I will definitely be going here monthly if not weekly!

I really wanted to like this place as I love Hawaiian food! However, the ribs I ordered were uneatable as they were about 80% fat. The chicken was okay with good flavor, but again the fat wasn’t trimmed off. Doing this goes a long way as some of us are sensitive to too much fat in our food. I got veggies with my meal instead of rice, which I think was kale cooked in teriyaki. However, it was extremely salty. It also had small pieces of squash with it, but the skin was left on so it wasn’t easy to eat. They were also out of several things we wanted to try. We may come back in a few months and give them another try, but we were highly disappointed with what we got.

They don’t serve you at the table. You order at the counter and they call your name. I’ve had the same cashier every time and she’s always wonderful.

We had lunch and it was amazing! The portions are very generous, the quality is excellent and the owners are friendly. We live in Albany and would hands down drive to McMinnville to eat here again. The fried rice is a meal alone.

I’m not usually that big on Hawaiian food in these areas but wanted to give this place a try, and soooo glad that I did. Crack chicken was amazing, the rice and Mac salad paired with the flavors of the entree and sauces are great! Not to mention the veggies I ordered on the side, so good with it all together! Try them out, don’t like something or need a suggestion they are great staff and I’m sure would fix it and make sure you walk out happy!
