This is the best poké bowl in Austin! The owners are incredible people, extremely kind, and always such a pleasure to see. As a former resident of 2 years on the big island in the town of Pahoa I have to say this is the most authentic Hawaiian food I’ve had since I left. I had the kalua pork and my gf had shoyu chicken. The portions were huge. To the point I had it for lunch and dinner. Only thing I want to add is pork and peas and that might just be a big island thing but even that doesn’t warrant a less then 5 star. Also the musubi was on point. Exactly how we got it in pahoa.

Listen up ppl! Once you start coming, you will not be able to find another local spot with authentic Hawaiian culture and taste! The owner Lauren, brings the knowledge and delicate traditions from her island of Oahu straight to the South Austin! You can’t go wrong with Loco Moco at breakfast time, Teriyaki Musubi for a quick lunch/snack, or the BBQ Shoyu Chicken for dinner. Don’t sleep on the Mac Salad or the Li Hung Pineapples; fantastic options for each dish! Be sure to check the website before you order to ensure your food item isn’t sold out for the day since their hours are dependent upon the food they sell! Enjoy

Awesome food! The shoyu chicken was just like the homemade stuff my friends made in Hawaii. The musubi were just like the ones I got from 7/11 (this is real praise, not sarcasm). Even the aloha juices for sale! Definitely worth the trip, and it was nice to have some of the foods I miss.

Soooooo good!! My bf picked up food and the lady working was so kind + the food was bomb. I got salmon and tuna poke and it was such good quality, i’m super picky about the fresh quality and it was one of best i’ve had take out in austin. My bf got bbq and chicken and loved it, huge portion + delish mac. New regular spot:)

Excellent food and very friendly owners here as well. My favorite is the pork kimchi fried rice and my wife likes the various poke (spicy, teriyaki, etc) here.

Stopped on an impulse and definitely glad we did! The staff are so pleasant and kind, and the food is delicious. We got the teriyaki musubi (so hot and fresh that we had to wait to eat it), li hing pineapple (very refreshing), mac salad (tasted so fresh, with a hint of sweetness), and the butter mochi. The butter mochi was absolutely the icing on the cake! It had such a delightful taste and I’m tempted to go back and buy a whole pan. 🙂 Definitely looking forward to going back and trying some of their poke options on our next visit.

Pork was so insanely smoky it tastes like there’s added smoke flavor. Not much other flavor which is a shame because the cook is good. Wasn’t a fan of the vanilla in the mac either, but that’s probably how it’s supposed to be so 3 stars is mostly for the overly smoky pork. Pineapple was great!

This restaurant is super great! The owners are very kind and help make the restaurant as superb as it is. The food is also amazing. The prices are good and the food is delicious. I will definitely return to this hidden gem Dittmar park is also minutes away and is a nice place to eat.
