Pleasantly surprised just a hole in the wall mom n pop but pretty good food. Pig n cabbage had a nice kiawe smoke to it , could use a touch more meat but was pretty darn good for some off island bbq. I’d be back anytime.

I really like Loco moco and BBQ. I was excited to find a place that had both! They tasted great and price was so much cheaper than expected and they have good, hearty portions! I was amazed.

BLAND! I’m shocked people have given this place 4-5 stars. Two family members ordered the steak plate. Meat was overcooked, veggies tasted watery from the steamer and had no flavor. I ordered the BBQ chicken plate and the macaroni was just okay. I’ve had better. Food was eatable but don’t get me started about the disgusting sauce they included. It tasted old and bitter. We would not recommended this place to anyone. The run down decorations didn’t bother us because that’s not what makes a place but the food didn’t hold up to the reviews.

Kalua was too salty & Mac salad was bad. Please put your Mac salad in the the fridge because it’s very warm inside your donut/food joint to leave it out in the walk. Mahalo nui.

The couple that runs this establishment is very sweet. The food is amazing and have been coming here long before the Hawaiian “big chain” opened up the street. Always enjoy the musubi, chicken katsu, and loco moco but the honey walnut shrimp and orange chicken are delicious as well.

The food is good but like everything else they are a bit overpriced. I don’t like the chicken skin being included on top an already thin slice of meat.

It’s a great hole in the wall place for Hawaiian food. When you order, it will take probably about 10 to 15 minutes to be ready. We ordered the family deal with rice, macaroni salad, barbecue beef, barbecue chicken, and katsu chicken.

Not worth the experience much. Front desk lady is lazy. Grill doesn’t sounds cleaned. Beef was dark and had black burnt leftovers.

I ordered the sweat and sour chicken plate. It comes with white rice, a few pineapple chunks and onions with the breaded chicken in sauce. It actually tasted really good but the breaded chicken was 90% dough and you could barely tell there was any chicken. It left me feeling nautious from carb overload and still hungry. Some of their Hawaiian dishes sounded good and is mainly what they do so maybe I’ll give them one more try and order a Hawaiian dish.
