I was pretty excited about this place opening up after seeing a lot of hype on Facebook. We ordered a sampler plate, pineapple, and a musubi. The sample platter meat was just okay and was nothing special, the rice almost crunchy (old or undercooked), and the macaroni salad was bland. The spam musubi was cold and pulled from the fridge, as easy as it is to make a musubi I was thinking it would be fresh or at least made this morning. We couldn’t eat it as the rice was hard and dry. The pineapple was good! I’ve only ever had it warm/hot so it was a nice cool treat on a sunny day. Though the hardened gel at the bottom of the cup suggests it might be better served warmed up.

Mid par hawaain food. The shorter gal was rude at the counter. Glad to have hawaiin here. Chicken and flavor also not flavorful. Your given a mini cup of sauce and one napkins and a plastic fork. Very small seating area

Got a plate to go (picture taken at home) with the Huli Huli chicken, which was seasoned and grilled to perfection. Some seriously good chicken. The mac salad was pretty good, though could have used a little salt. The rice was a little underdone.

I went there on opening day and went back about a week later after reading some of the painfully attacking reviews on this place and I have to say they really stepped up. They took all the criticism and fixed pretty much all of it! This is definitely going to become a regular place for me because the food quality is ridiculously good for the low prices. 10/10 would and have recommended to people looking for a new thing to try.

I had the Sampler Plate and I thought everything on it was delicious and flavorful (other than the veggies, those could definitely use some flavor) I liked the simplicity of the Mac salad and all three of the meats were very good.

I went to get take out on a Sunday and didn’t know what to order. I asked the young lady at the counter what she suggested and I honestly didn’t pay attention to what she said I just said yes bc I’m not a picky eater. I enjoyed the meal and will be back soon.

The most boring and uninspired plate of food I have ever come across. I felt bad for the pig that went into the making of that pork because they definitely did not honor it by cooking it to mushy slop that even the biggest most gluttonous American would (hopefully) know better than to eat. The beef was left in huge chunks and as a result was cooked unevenly. Also over salted. I don’t understand why I need almost 3 sides of rice and only one side of mac salad. The mac salad was the only edible thing on my plate but even that fell on the extremely bland end of the food spectrum. Extremely disappointed with everything I had here definitely the worst $34 I’ve spent. Am very sad to say that being a supporter of local businesses but just because they’re a small family Business doesn’t give them the excuse to put sub par food out for our community to consume.

Dang, people! Let’s give this brand new business a chance to get their bearings before leaving bad reviews. We want more restaurant options here, not fewer – right? Takes a lot of gumption and faith to start business.

Wonderful little gem! My wife and I were looking for a cheap dinner and decided to stop in. We got the big island which was $20 and the kids size shaved ice (it would be a large shaved ice anywhere else lol) we split both and we had plenty to eat! Great portions and delicious food!!! You get to choose 2 meats so we got the Haui Chicken and the teriyaki pork which both were fantastic!! Literally not many places in town can top the flavor of this grill meat, especially the chicken! All that with a free fountain drink that came with that meal, pretty good. The mac was more savory then the typical sweet, which I liked. The only down side is the rice was a little undercooked, too crunchy for my taste. All and all a great reasonably priced meal, with fantastic meat! We will be going back!!

My wife ordered the Kalua Pork plate. I had the Teriyaki Beef plate. The macaroni salad was very good but the Kalua Pork and Teriyaki Beef were WAY to salty to eat/inedible. All we ate was the macaroni salad. I didn’t taste any teriyaki with the beef, only salt. You need to let the customer salt their own food.
