Good place to eat! Great atmosphere. Great waitresses and staff. It was our first time here. The only critique I have is that I ordered the pulled smoked chicken and it had set under the heat WAY too long. It has good flavor but was very dried out. If you are ordering that, ask them how “fresh” from coming off the smoker it is. They gave me a $10 gift card and some chicken to go, hoping it would be better, it wasn’t. We turned it into chicken salad after we got home and it was great for that. Still highly recommend eating here, my husband’s food was fantastic.

I had heard good things about this place. We drive an hour and a half to try it out. I hate to say, but we were very disappointed. We ordered our drinks and it took awhile to get them. We ordered our food and waited an hour. When the food came, my father in law and I just looked at each other with disbelief. We waited that long for small portions. And it wasn’t anything special. I will have to say that the restrooms were very clean as well as the restaurant itself. They had plenty of waitresses. It was a little crowded when we first arrived, but the crowd thinned out by the time we got our food. There is also a very nice area outside to dine. Over all, it was neat to go once, just to say I’ve been. But I will probably not make that trip again.

Good food. Worth the drive out from Evansville. For those that like their meat sauced when it comes out, this place will do. They have several sauces to choose from. Large portions and quick and friendly service. The prices are reasonable. For those that don’t want their meat sauced on arrival, I’d check with the server to see what they can do. I think they do a decent job with smoking. The ribs and chicken were tasty and properly done. The close slaw was crisp, not too sweet. I enjoyed the hashbrowns casserole. Everyone else’s sides were good. No complaints from our party. There is a decent selection of drinks, but not a ton on tap. This is one of the better bbq places in the E’ville area, in my opinion. Indoor and outdoor seating. Live music on occasion. Onion rings and Ida fries/chips are a nice appetizer. I preferred the chips myself but all was good. I added the menus to my review. Oh my gosh! The pulled pork here is divine! The best I’ve ever had! The fried cheese and mushroom appetizers were great. Just in town for business, but I’ll be back when back in town!

This place is incredible! The chips and pork could have been a meal on their own. The chips were cooked to perfection. Boneless wings were some of the best around. Fish sandwich was breaded just right and the portion size was nothing to complain about.

Stopped in for some BBQ as we travelled through. I had the full rack of baby back ribs with white cheddar mac n cheese with green beans. It was all very good, with the ribs being quite literally fall off the bone tender.

We enjoyed this visit and went away miserably full. We had went most of the day without much to eat, so decided to order the appetizer sampler platter along with the 3 meat dinner. My wife and I both opted for ribs and pulled pork while I chose chicken and she had brisket for our third choice.
